However, they were horribly inefficient. It took a four man crew twice as long to move us out of the apartment as it had taken a 2 man crew to move us into the apartment with the same amount of stuff. Also, we had some bags with personal items in a corner that we said we would move ourselves. They insisted multiple times they needed the bags to use as filler in the truck, and when we finally said ok it took extra time for them to use an unnecessary amount of tape on the bags. Furthermore, we had a couch in the bedroom and this crew could not figure out how to move my couch without taking the bedroom door off its hinges- the whole process took an hour, which was problematic as we were paying $225 an hour. That couch has been through six moves with me- 2 of those times I personally moved with the help of an older uncle and it has never taken an hour to move because it's not a terribly heavy couch. In addition to the inefficiencies, we still have bookshelves, a glass insert, and a remote control that they packed up missing. Lastly, I had several boxes marked fragile in big, bold letters and the crew stacked heavy boxes on top of my fragile items.

As far as I am concerned, there is only one moving company to handle moving my personal possessions. You should make Anderson Moving yours.........

Nothing broken, damaged or missing. All aspects of their work was top notch and made what can be a stressful event into just another couple of busy days for us. All member of the move day teams were respectful and detail oriented in their work. all items that were taken apart for the move-out were properly reassembled at the move-in location. Large items were properly and securely protected and wrapped for the move. The team did not damage walls, floors or any other part of the move-out or move-in homes. Walk throughs were performed on both ends of the move before and after the loading/unloading. The teams were on time on both ends of the move and super accommodating for any questions or request we had. Initial estimate walk through was thorough, and pricing quote was honest and fair. Signed contract pricing was honored and no surprise gottchas at the end of the move. The company is fully licensed and insured for the work they contract to perform, and they complete that work without any drama or surprises in a professional manner. From the office employees to the onsite movers, this company and its team are excellent at what they do. Shout out to Corey, Emmet and Nick for your hard work and support on our move. I highly recommend Positive Moves without hesitation if you are in need of services they provide.

During the delivery, Formica Movers damaged the wooden flooring of the client, resulting in $1800 worth of damage. Despite numerous attempts to have Formica resolve this damage they caused, after 2 months of empty promises and a lackadaisical attitude on behalf of the owner of Formica Moving, the flooring has not been repaired. Formica Movers acknowledged and accepted responsibility for the damage but was unwilling to make the time to address the damage directly with the client. Additionally, they told the client their insurance would not cover the damage due to some type of waiver of liability or contract they normally provide for the clients to sign before the move. In this case, the contract was not presented to us or the client and no one ever agreed to waive any liability for any type of damage. Formica initially offered to repair the flooring and offered up to $50 maximum to resolve the claim, however they refused to put forth the effort to schedule the repair with the client and of course the $50 was a ridiculous and insufficient amount to offer considering the extent and amount of damage. We are forced to resolve the issue with the client directly. The bottom line is the mover performed a service and was compensated in full for the service. They caused damage to the flooring, acknowledged it, and yet refused to repair it. Beware! This could happen to you! Adam T SLC

I had my floors refinished and needed furniture brought back in the house from the garage. The movers were careless and unfortunately scratched and gouged up my newly refinished floors in damages worth in the amount of $1,500. Their explanation was because I only purchased the basic insurance they were not responsible and that I would not need reimbursed for the extra cost to repair it. Avoid hiring Two Men and a Truck at all costs. They have proven that they can damage your property and not be held responsible for it.

I was just making a cross town move and had also heard the owner speak to a ciciv group. To my dismay their crew didn't properly wrap and pack items - the excuse..."we ran out of packing paper, tape and boxes" (mind you their hub was no more than 2-3 miles from my house so more supplies could have been delivered.) Additionally, they dumped entire drawers into boxes - think knives loosely dumped into a box with full silverware trays and glasses. Oh, and packing a Fry Daddy full of oil, which splashed around in the box and on other items....not to mention no labeling of boxes. The ultimate disaster was that they left items/furniture at the house. I just happened to go by the house and found 2 full pick up truck loads that 2 Men and a Truck didn't happen to let me know were left. Had I been making a long distance move I might not have known until I was on the other end. I never received a follow up check in call like I have from other moving companies. I felt overwhelmingly disappointed. I would recommend anyone in this area needing a mover to USE ANYONE ELSE. Rather than making my move easier, 2 men & a Truck doubled my work and cost me 2k. Just say no.
