Not very helpful when you call. Always an excuse for something when you ask questions. Better off somewhere else. -

They took extra time to show me how to administer every medicine and answered all my questions (and I had a lot of them because this is my first cat EVER)! The kind of veterinary clinic where it's clear they invest in their animals and don't just take short cuts to get you in and out quickly. It's nice they partner with animal organizations too!! We have had great experiences here and thank you so much to the staff and vets for all you do!

Unfortunately, my experience surrounding the euthanasia of my dog Paisley completely shattered that respect. Paisley was my best friend. I picked her out, named her, and loved her for her entire life. I found a tumor on her over a year ago and repeatedly told my family, offered to schedule vet visits, cover all costs, and handle transportation. Those offers were refused. I was not informed when the decision was finally made to euthanize her. I had to find out from someone else. I was promised the opportunity to be involved, to ask questions, and to be present for the discussion and goodbye. Instead, I was forced to watch over FaceTime while Dr. Murphy and my mother repeatedly left the room to discuss matters without me. When I tried to ask if they could wait so I could be included, I was talked over and told they would proceed anyway. The rest of my family was given notice and allowed to be present. I was intentionally excluded from my own dog's final moments. Regardless of circumstances, the lack of empathy, communication, and basic compassion shown to someone grieving the loss of a deeply bonded animal was devastating. This experience caused immense emotional harm, and I would never recommend this practice to friends or loved ones. Paisley deserved better. So did I. Edit: I also find it concerning that this practice appears to ask clients to edit older reviews, which has the effect of burying negative feedback. That feels inappropriate and raises serious concerns about transparency.

We brought Mia, our Savannah in, to go to the Rainbow Bridge, she was quite elderly and it was her time. They took her and chatted with us for a bit. We even were able to give her some chocolate. All throughout, the staff was compassionate and kind. They took the time to get to know Mia as a cat rather than just as a patient. And when her situation became a little complicated due to her fragile state, they were ready with other solution that were humane and compassionate, and allowed us to hold our girl in her last moments. This isn't unique to Mia. We've brought many cats in to them. There was one memorable time when Dr Q. spent about an hour with our Nala, who was all cattitude, even at the end. He hadn't treated her before--Dr Lucy had the dubious pleasure, sorry about your muzzle, guys!--but by the time she was ready to go, he, too, was emotionally invested. I cannot tell you how beautiful it is knowing that your vet is caring, compassionate, and gentle in those moments. Especially in THOSE moments. Every single person on staff is warm, gentle, patient focused, and compassionate. In a world where everything is rush rush rush, it's really fortunate that we have this practice so close to home. I'd trust my cats to them without reservation.

They stayed late, examined him, stabilized him, determined he needed emergency surgery, located and contacted an emergency vet and had them on standby for us. Then they provided above and beyond followup care by treating us like family and showering us and our dog with empathy (they even had their groomer come over to the exam table to clean him up because we couldn't bathe him after surgery) The doctors and staff here left an imprint on our family that cannot be put into words. Thank you!!!

Last night, Glenkirk Animal Hospital moved into the 5+ star category. We brought our 16 year old cat in because we had serious concerns about his health and quality of life lately. I was really struggling with the decision of when was the right time to end his life peacefully. Dr. K sat on the floor with our first fur baby for 40 minutes, observing him and talking us through options. She spoke with such unhurried kindness, she helped me feel at peace with our decision. We cannot thank the hospital enough for the time and kindness she and her assistant, Chris, spent with us.

You told us 8 times or more during 2 different visits that it was dementia and cognitive even though I had him in there and his ph in urine was high you said it was not of worry. Not only did he have high ph, he has protein and high bun and low sdma, which all seeming are leading to kidney issues for him. You refused to give him and kind of care!
