They have certain clinic requirements at UAB to make sure students are well-rounded clinicians before they graduate and move on to residencies. The majority of the faculty are very caring, knowledgeable, and helpful especially in the clinical years. They are also well prepared academically as their 100% Boards Pass rate shows. I would recommend anyone applying to dental school or any residency program to consider coming and interviewing here if given the opportunity! I would also recommend patients to come here to get the dental needs taken care of here. Although patient's appointments will be a bit longer since we're an educational clinic, the students and faculty truly care about the patient's needs. Patients at UAB will receive the outmost quality of care.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. But they take great x-rays I'll say that. I recently went to another dentist and they found the problem the same problem that's clearly shown in the X-ray from Aspen last year. Neglect & malpractice to say the least. I am giving Aspen Dental one star because the neglectful care I received leading to a lack of a proper treatment plan is basically malpractice. Aspen Dental failed to diagnose & treat a serious dental issue which resulted in me experiencing a great deal of pain and resulted in an extraction of the tooth. After going to another dentist it was obvious that Aspen Dental didn't view the x-rays that were taken at my visit with them because the cavity was very obvious on the x-ray taken by Aspen Dental in Gardendale back on March 27, 2023.
