Our first visit to Stonebridge was a mixed one. We had a large group of which no one enjoyed their meal. The garlic bread starter was sliced so thin you could almost see through it and wasn't flavourful. 3 of us ordered the schnitzel with one being cooked well, one over cooked, and one burnt. The garlic sauce that came with it was so thick you could turn the container over and the sauce would stay put! Glue would be a more fitting description. The vegetables were all but raw for everyone and the mash potato wasn't mashed and reminded me of the old Deb instant mash. Prawns weren't fresh and were soggy. I thought the kids would be happy with nuggets and chips but even they wouldn't finish their meal. All in all the service was good and staff friendly the area and country club is beautiful and we will visit again for drinks but our first visit to Stonebridge for a meal will probably be our last. read more
