Their website states the following: Some of the aspects Christina specializes in are Annual/Sports Physicals, Anxiety/Depression, Sports Medicine and Nutrition, medically supervised weight-management, & even hormone optimization, later is adds " Cosmetic therapeutics and pain management". How can a nurse practitioner specialize in this wide array of specialties? Answer, impossible! the founder, Dr. Stone left the practice and they will not say where he went. all of the reviews listed everywhere here, yelp on their website, etc. are from the time he was there. A year or so ago, I followed Tina when she moved from another practice to Stone Med, despite it being a longer drive for me, because she is so amazing that I wouldn't trust anyone else with my care. I see Tina every month and I have also seen Dr. Stone. They are both incredible medical care providers as well as compassionate, empathetic human beings. Dr. Stone is fantastic! I have been Dr. Stones patient for over 5 years and he is the best trust me. Been dealing with degenerative disc disease for 29 years. Been doing physical rehab for over 15 years but never provided me with much pain relief. Dr. Stone has performed several RF nerve blocks on my T10 region and immediately was pain free! This was amazing. I didn't expect this to work this fast or this well. I didn't know at first what its like to not be in terrible constant pain and it made me realize what a burden to carry that much pain around every day. Unfortunately the nerve grows back and the pain free procedure will need to be repeated when it becomes unbearable again. For that I know who I will continue to see... Dr. Stone! read more

Dr. Stone is truly wonderful. I have major back neck and arm pain. I have been to other doctors who just see you as cattle coming through the door seeking pain meds. Dr. Stone takes the time to listen and answer all questions and I always have alot of questions. He and his staff are very knowledgeable and compassionate. Unfortunately the namesake of this healthcare provider is no longer there. I even made a teleconference appt with whomever makes appts for Stone-Med and was never called. Dr. Stone did what no other doctors were able to do, that is relieve me of pain. Now I wish further treatment and the current owners of Stone-Med cannot or will not disclose on how to get to Dr. Stone and furthermore, made me think I had an appointment and did not even get a call to cancel. I have no desire to see someone who is not a licensed physician at this facility. I am very disappointed in the lack of communications by Stone-Med. When Dr. Stone was there, 5 stars for sure....now, nope not interested in getting a better appearance. read more

Hands down best group of medical staff and two of the top providers in the state of Arizona. My husband has had chronic illness since 2012 (ranging from multiple amputations, surgeries, hospital stays and weekly wound care for infectious disease). Christina Tretter Just want to give a shout out to all of our friends in the Phoenix area and especially in the Southeast area of Phoenix. I had injured my arm falling off a stand up jetski while at Lake Powell and after several weeks was not getting any better and causing a great deal of pain. It almost felt like I had torn a rotator cuff and was causing a lot of difficulty in the kind of work that I do. We have one of our hiking friends who had started a new practice with a medical doctor and so I called and made an appointment to go by for a check-up of my arm. Dr. Stone came in and greeted me and asked me a lot of questions, had me do a lot of different movements and immediately pinpointed where the problem was. Fortunately, it did not seem like it was as bad as I thought and right away my worries seem to gradually fade away. I don't know which was worse; the fear that I had done severe damage or just the pain from having to deal with it from day to day. I can't tell you how grateful I was to find a doctor who not only knows what he's doing but really knows how to talk to the patient and doesn't talk down to you in a condescending way but on your own level. Everyone in their office was very welcoming and very personable and you could tell that they all got along and really had a great time doing what they do. Dr. Stone also went out of his way to find an Imaging Center for me to have an MRI but at the same time did not think that it was going to be necessary. I opted to get the MRI in order to know precisely where to place the shots for the PRP therapy. After only one day of the PRP it feels so good to be PAIN-FREE with very little soreness. I'm looking forward to going back soon and having more PRP(Platelet Rich Plasma) shots. So I'm sending this out because anytime you find a practice that you really like, of course you want to share it with everybody. Their practice includes interventional pain remedies, regenerative medicine, sports medicine, aesthetics and anti-aging, hydration therapy, and the hormone balancing. Dr Stone is the best! He's the first doctor in almost 40 years that said that he thought he could do something to improve my quality of life by lessening or eliminating my back pain that is brought on because of severe arthritis. Every other doctor said that I just needed to live with it or just wanted to load me up on pain meds. Dr Stone put together a thoughtful plan to address my issues which we are now implementing. It will be another month or so before I see the ultimate improvement, but based on the initial testing I believe that I could see an 80+% improvement in my pain level. Dr. David Stone is by far THE BEST at what he does! I've had chronic pain in my cervical spine and the base of my neck for over 30 years as the result of a spinal fusion back in the 80s and progressive arthritis. I'd learned to live with the almost constant burning pain and the fact that my neck was almost completely immobile. Suffice to say after a relatively short amount of time, Dr. Stone has me nodding my head, looking left to right, and the pain is gone! I will start this review by saying I walked out of my appt with Tina in tears...happy tears because I have finally found someone who listened to me and cares about my well being from a wholistic view. I am beyond EXCITED to have found Tina and Stone Med! I've lived in AZ for almost 3 years and have struggled finding a practice that genuinely wants to establish a relationship with me and my family. Tina listened to me and most importantly treated me like a human being. I was not just another number being judged and rushed out of the office. I also struggle with severe back pain so will be using Tina and Dr. Stone for Pain Management and treatments and procedures to hopefully fix the problem and not just use a band-aid approach. Because Tina spent time with me and LISTENED she was able to identify how my physical state could be impacting my emotional state and vice versa. She also took time to review my health history and since I have a specific health condition she made educated and safe recommendations for treatment going forward. I am so excited about finally having a health advocate and someone who cares about me.
