Great service, GF pesto pizza was very good! Cowpig fries were super good also. Was not busy at all for Friday lunch read more

Went on a busy night so we had to eat at the bar but that was okay. Our server, the bartender was busy but she was always attentive and friendly. Great service and perhaps better than we would have gotten in regular seating. Had the Caprese salad and the Veggie Patch pizza. Both were great but next time we think we'll get a pizza with pepperoni or sausage. Other than the (too) large garlic chunks the veggie was missing just a little something. I wouldn't say it was bland but it just needed something more. Nice location in downtown Belmont with a true 'pizza place' vibe...I know, my grandfather owned a pizza place in NYC when I was growing up. We'll be back! read more

We recently went to Stone Fired Social to watch the Panthers game. I've been to several places in Belmont but never knew this place existed even though I've been to the neighboring restaurant many times. It did not disappoint. We started with the fried mozz appetizer. Delicious. The mozzarella by itself wasn't very flavorful but adding the red sauce was a game changer. The sauce was very flavorful. I had a Margherita pizza on gluten free crust. It was good and very saucy. The gluten free crust wasn't bad but was very thin and flimsy. However, for a gluten free option it wasn't bad. There's also a gelato bar at the entrance. I didn't have any but my boyfriend tried the strawberry flavor and raved about it. Our server was Christine (maybe Christina?) and she was friendly and attentive throughout the night. It's also a very fun atmosphere with great music playing and an arcade area. We will definitely come back to eat here. read more

We love the buffalo chicken pizza so for a special birthday we ordered 2 buffalo chicken pizzas and an order of spinach dip. These 3 items were about 70$ We have eaten in the restaurant and had great experiences but this was our first to-go order. We will never make that mistake again. Our pizzas had hardly any toppings and the spinach dip was about 1/2 of the amount you get in person. We are so disappointed. read more

Just had the NEW lunch special for Wednesdays only. We went there for pizza ( love and adore their pizzas) and their meatball sub was just wonderful! Perfect size and perfect service. I had a side of broccoli ( loved that healthy option). We even took home the green/red pizza to go! Gotta love Stone Fired Pizza!! My favorite in Belmont. read more

We go here quite often and always enjoy it.. trifecta of food, atmosphere and great servers. Food comes out fresh and fast. We typically get a margarita pizza w cowpig crumbles w a bit of extra sauce cooked extra crispy. We also get pasta w eggplant (pasta Christina without peppers and w eggplant). The wings are so good too. You can get a bottle of wine from String Bean and pay a $2 corkage. It's a great deal. They also have a full bar, their own wine selection and lots of beer on tap. Fun for the kiddos w the games and excellent gelato for dessert. read more

This is our favorite place for pizza! We love the sweet chick-bbq chicken bacon sweet onions and a zesty drizzled sauce. Salad is super fresh. Very friendly atmosphere and quick food. We highly recommend! read more

Mediocre. The service was mediocre ( except when asking for tip..), the food was mediocre, the bar is ... you guessed it..mediocre. My wife loved the Chicken cutlet penne. But to be honest, there was no skill put into that dish. And it took them 30 minutes to bring out our food, and ordered a salad with grilled chicken that was small and tasted....yup. Mediocre. Did I mention small for $14. The young girl making pizza by herself is why you wait so long for your pizza... get her some help, and a hair net. And maybe some gloves. read more

I had a great lunch today at stone fired the hummus was excellent the mozzarella sticks were delicious and the service was above and beyond I will come back very soon read more

Food was so so.. nothing to really write home about. Had the appetizer sampler, the chicken tenders were very small, artichoke dip was the best part but it comes with carrots and celery not chips... there were some garlic knot things that were crunchy, not sure it that's how they should have been or not.. Had the grilled chicken pasta and again the chicken tenders were very small, not a lot of flavor. Ordered sangria from the bar, not sweet at all, very bitter and very strong.. service was good, the server was very attentive and polite!!! Ambiance was cute!!!! Very welcoming and kid friendly!! Dinning room was a little messy due to kids but staff was quick to clean it up .. restrooms were also clean!! Will return for the artichoke dip but definitely a different entree!! read more

After arriving at 6:13 p.m. to pick up a take-out order, I was "informed" by a young hostess that it would not be ready until 6:12 p.m. At least she was savvy enough to walk to the back to check on it. However, the jerk chicken pizza was over cooked. Spending $41 on two small pizzas was bad enough. We will return when this place has more adult supervision. read more

Place had the best pizza but has gone downhill . Last few times I've been there the pizza wasn't cooked good and sometimes the service is bad . They seem to congregate at the end of the bar and are loud and not attentive read more

We love the pizza! Fresh cheese, the best dough, and great sauce. Although there is sometimes a short wait to be seated, our service and food arrival has typically been quick. To go orders have also arrived steaming hot. Great place for families! read more

This restaurant was fairly busy when we visited on a Saturday about 2. Our party of 4 ordered 3 pizzas and an order of chicken fingers. All pizzas were undercooked. One even had cheese that wasn't really melted. The chicken fingers came out 15 minutes after the pizza. The waitress was occupied with a table of friends 3 tables down and it took us forever to get her attention so that we could pay and leave. All around, this was just bad! read more

Service was great ! The pizza was fresh and I loved how the crust was just right !!! Will come back again !

I really enjoy this place. It's been a great addition to the little Downtown Belmont area and is close to my home. It has been a go to on a couple Friday nights when we just don't feel like cooking and don't otherwise have plans. For the most part, the service is good, but it often takes a while to get our food. On busy nights, we've waited up to an hour for a table, and then another 45 minutes to get our food once seated. I would like to see them upgrade the wait list to a text system. It seems antiquated to have to answer an actual phone call, which feels even more awkward for the early twenty-something hostesses. The drink menu needs to be updated with descriptions. I have to ask what various cocktails are with each visit. It would save both patrons and servers time and headache to just have a blurb of what each drink is on the menu. Parking is minimal, but there's a large free public lot about a block over and back. It's a short walk if you aren't lucky enough to score the parallel street parking or a spot in the small lot on the other side of The Stringbean. They do have a small arcade area for the kiddos or adults looking for a little nostalgia. They also offer fresh gelato from Honey Suckle Gelato, typically found in Optimist Hall in Charlotte. On nicer days, they will open the large windows and let the fresh air flow. TV's are around for game nights as well. Pro Tip - Order any pizza with the hot honey, or add a small side of it to your order. It's delicious. I've never been disappointed with any of the pizzas. The only thing keeping me from giving them a full five stars is the time it takes to get food and the lack of cocktail descriptions on the menu. read more

Finally have the smoker working for wings. Was excited. Have been here many times and enjoy the food and service. I am a huge blue cheese fan. However, the blue cheese was milky water. When I told the server that the blue cheese was terrible, she took it personally and walked away. Maybe I should have said it was inedible. Maybe she was having a bad day. Either way, won't be back for a while. read more

We've been so excited for Stone Fired Social to finally open! My husband and I took our little one here on a Saturday, and we were pleasantly surprised to see how beautiful the space was- they've really transformed the space from the previous business! There's a nice bar with TVs, comfortable seating, and arcade games in the back. I feel like it offers a little something for everyone. My husband and I each ordered a personal pizza. I stuck with the traditional Margherita while my husband went for the Red Corvette- a meat pizza drizzled with hot honey. Both were so delicious and large enough to save some for later! They also have a decent kids menu, and our 2 year old had a cheese pizza with fruit that she enjoyed. Their menu has some really interesting pizzas that I want to go back and try. They also have an assortment of apps, wings, salads and pasta dishes. This is an awesome place for a date night, to come watch a game at the bar, or to bring the whole family! I am really happy for this new business in downtown Belmont and wish it all the success! read more

Very friendly staff. Only had the pizza on each visit and it was awesome. Look forward to going back.

This is a new restaurant that just opened in the heart of downtown Belmont. This restaurant compliments the other restaurant options in Belmont as the menu is fresh and different from all the rest. There are no pizza spots downtown except for this one. This used to be Doffer's Restaurant and has been redesigned to be completely updated, hip, sleek and much brighter. Stonefired Social has an extensive bar that is fully stocked and offers some unique drink options along with the classics. My old fashion was made very well. We ordered wings (lemon pepper and jerk). They were both dry rubs. They were good, but a little pricey for wings. We were praying for the Doffer's old wing recipe to make a comeback here and no such luck. Wishful thinking but no take from the offering this restaurant provides. The Caprese salad was ok. The balsamic dressing was a little skimpy but very flavorful. There was a pesto used, but I'm thinking it was for visual presentation only. I could not taste it. The salad was fresh. It wasn't bad, but o will probably never order it again, there are too many other menu items to tickle your fancy. We took a chance and ordered the Veggie Patch pizza as a compromise to fit each other's palate. He eats no pork and I love a meat lovers which is mostly pork. The veggie patch was DELICIOUS! Like seriously, delightfully delicious. The crust was perfect! Not crispy and dry and still thin. The toppings were fresh and contained half cloves of garlic which I initially thought would be overpowering but to my surprise, it was not. The veggie patch pizza was a perfect blend of all the ingredients that made your tastebuds dance. There was nothing that was too much or not enough. This was the perfect pizza for both of us, which never happens. Our server was very nice. We went there on a Sunday to watch a football game and try out the menu. We got the impression that this is not the type of restaurant that people go there to watch a game, rather to have a dining experience that ends with one hellofa pizza. The restaurant was clean and the staff were very good at sanitizing and cleaning regularly. We are looking forward to our return to finish working our way through the menu. read more

Enjoyed it except for a baby crying. Oh well! The service was good and the food was delicious. Ambiance was a bit loud, especially when kids were playing the games, but it's a family restaurant so you have to accept that. I look forward to going back soon. read more

Excellent food, excellent staff. The pizza, artichoke dip, and friend mozzarella are awesome.

After waiting for 40 minutes for what was supposed to be 15-20 minute wait, we didn't even get to try the food. Service was absolutely horrendous. PLEASE train your staff on your menu. "I don't know" and "I didn't even know we had that on the menu" are NOT acceptable responses from a server. At least offer to go ask instead of just shrugging and saying you don't know and leaving it at that. The food that was coming out to other tables looked pretty bad. Wish we would have read the reviews first, as it's pretty evident the food is on par with the terrible service. This place is extremely kid friendly (translation: there are unruly screaming children at EVERY table). If you're looking for an enjoyable dinner, skip this place. read more

I went here yesterday for the first time. Ordered a small Bianca pizza to go for the wife and me. Oh, and I had an OMB Copper beer on draft while I waited. The beer was $8. We drove by this place a couple times before noticing the little sign in the window. The parking situation is a little tight, especially on the weekend. The wait wasn't so bad and the restaurant is nice with bar and table seating. The open windows is a nice touch when it's not cold and raining. They only have single bathrooms so you'll have to be quick to grab a vacant one. The menu is mostly appetizers and pizza with approximately 3-4 entrees, very pricey entrees. Even the pizzas are on the pricey side at $17 for a small and $24 for a large. Their appetizers are also pricey in comparison with the portion you receive. The fried mozzarella was delicious but extremely small portion. The pastas were delicious and hearty but still too pricey for pasta in a small town. They definitely need to improve their dessert menu as they were only offering gelato. Perhaps include Affogato. Overall the experience was good, the service was friendly the atmosphere was cool, but the prices were off. read more

Love their food but they can't get an order right now matter what. Complained once and they gave me partial refund. But 5 orders in a row which is on me, we want to support local but enough is enough. I complained once but even the small things add up over time. From giving complete wrong food, pizza is always cold, not giving side salads in the meals, not giving side dressing that we paid for, asked for crispy pizza and it's the opposite. Not sure how hard it is to order online, ticket is printed and you can't seem to still fill it. They will also give you incorrect times online for pickup, food is usually ready way before which we learned. I check everything when I pickup but my husband doesn't hence a few that got home. The food is actually good here and I'll go eat at the location but this is an every time occurrence so sadly I'll have to move on somewhere else. read more

Had a great time at Stone Fired Social this past Sunday... our first time there. We sat at the bar and Sheryl was great and updated us quickly on our questions about the menu and the food and atmosphere was just what we needed for a Sunday date day. Great service... great vibes go check them out! read more

Tried Stone Fired Social for lunch on a Saturday. The service was super friendly and the atmosphere was lively and fun. We did a build your own pizza which was full of flavor with a delicious crust. My only complaint is that for a build your own pizza with less toppings than a menu item pizza, the price was significantly higher. We could've gotten a pizza with 3-5 toppings that we didn't necessarily want for less than the pizza we ordered with 2 toppings! Otherwise, it was a great experience and I'll be back! read more

Great food great service. Our go to pizza place in Belmont for a quick dinner. Bonus is the gelato that changes flavors often.

Great waitress, good food. Bartender and "her posse" behind the bar were so loud, that on the other side of the restaurant we had a hard time carrying on a conversation. Bartender came around the front of the bar slamming all the barstools in, oblivious to customers. read more
