BUT!!!! The plumbers are absolutely worthless! In January of this year we bought a 100 year old home we are refurbishing. I called Pace to do some HVAC work and to run a water and gas line a few feet inside the house. Like I said the HVAC guys were just terrific. They came to my house a couple of times and each time accomplished what they came for. They were friendly and took the time to communicate with us regarding the work they did. The plumbers were nothing like the HVAC guys. The plumbers came to my house 8-10 times. (This was not a big job, mind you) Each time they came they would look around, talk to each other, maybe say a few words to us, then before I knew it I would hear their truck start up. I would look outside to see them drive away without so much as a word to anyone or doing ANY work at all. The day my contractor removed the entire kitchen floor I called the plumbers out (AGAIN) so that they would have easy access to the water and gas lines under the kitchen floor. Same thing happened. They showed up, looked around and without a word to anyone left without doing any work at all. My contractor was paying a crew and they had to keep working and install the new sub-floor ad flooring without the plumbing work getting done. They were forced to leave an opening in the wall in the pantry area so that if the plumbers ever did decide to DO THEIR JOB they would have access to the water and gas lines. I feel that I have been unfairly charged for "MANY VISITS" from the plumbers where they actually didn't perform a lick of work. I have been seriously overcharged for the little work they did manage to accomplish on their last visit. I will never use this company again for plumbing issues.

He went into the attic an liked around, then the heater cycled. I said "that's the sound I was telling you about." He poke at several spots and the sound stopped. It was air being blown out of a leak between the furnace and duct. He drove a screw in and it was fixed. An honest man, so refreshing to not get taken to the cleaners. Normally, we're the kind of people who try to fix most of our problems on our own before calling someone, but my husband was out of town for a business trip all week, and I didn't feel comfortable trying to diagnose things on my own. I knew I couldn't wait 6 days without AC. So I started doing research. The first guy I called gave me a long list of things that probably needed to be replaced, and gave me a quote of around $400. I gave him my concerns about him diagnosing the AC unit over the phone without even looking at it. He became very rude and told me he could give me an in person quote on Wednesday. I told him to make me an appointment for Wednesday and decided to keep looking around for other options. I'm pretty sure I called at least 15 other places. Several of them quoted me around the same price, or couldn't make it to look at the unit until several days later. I actually ended up finding Climate Care on complete accident while I was looking for a phone number to another place, and I truly believe that God was on my side that day. I was extremely annoyed by the time I called, and I know that was definitely heard over the phone but they were friendly with me the entire time, and he told me he could come look at my unit that day, within the next hour and a half if I was available and give me a quote based on what they found. My prayers had been answered. Brian (I think?) showed up when he was supposed to, and immediately started looking at my unit. Within 15 minutes, he had a diagnosis ready. When he came back he explained the problem to me in simple and matter-of-fact kind of way. I run into service guys all the time (especially in auto shops) who think that because you're a woman you just won't understand the situation, or you don't know what you're really looking for. I did not feel that way at all talking to the guy, and it was a serious breath of fresh air. I was more than prepared for him to tell me that I needed to replace this long list of parts and it was going to cost me over $400. He told me I only needed to replace one part, quoted me around $80 and had the problem fixed for me around 2 hours later. He even took a little bit of extra time to clean up around and inside the unit (at no extra cost to me). I was very pleased with my service and I'm convinced that my AC is working better now than it ever did. I will definitely call them first with any issue I have in the future. TLDR: Was quoted $400 and several days wait to get started on the work for the first company I called. I found Climate Care on accident, and have never been so well taken care of. They were extremely nice, and looked at my unit that day and gave me a quote of around $80. They went above and beyond to make sure my unit was working properly and even cleaned around and inside the unit to make sure that the AC was working 100%.
