The line looked long and you order and receive at the same window, so the worry is that someone with a big order will make a line of 4 feel like 40. The person at the window must have had a big order because someone came out and started going to cars to get their orders until that car drove off. Which really sped up the process. I got a hot Copper Mountain Mocha and a chocolate mint biscotti. The mocha was spot on including the temperature. Not so hot you have to wait a half an hour to drink but hot. The flavor was exactly what you would expect a mocha to be like but a hit smoother. I don't know what makes it "Copper Mountain", but I would get it again. The biscotti was good, it was made somewhere else and delivered in the package. I did not go inside so I am not sure what it is like there. I did see a couple of people go in and leave before I go up to the window, so maybe I should have gone inside.

The crack of dawn comes with egg and cream cheese, plus cheese on your choice of bagel. He got it with cheddar on an everything bagel and I got it with provolone on a plain bagel. I also got a white chocolate mocha. The mocha was great, smooth, and delicious. Having the cream cheese on the bagel with the egg and provolone was interesting. My husband said he liked his. I think I would try with cheddar and/or without the cream cheese next time. It was good, just the flavors in my combo didn't all go together in my opinion. There were high tables and regular tables to sit at, everything was clean. There was a small area for shopping off to the side where you could find stickers, cups, sweat shirts, and so much more. My second trip here was on my own. The person at the counter was very helpful and patient as I determined what I wanted and asked questions. She made the suggestion for my drink. She even let me know that the largest size was a 32oz, so I backed down to a 24oz. I had veggie wrap and a huckleberry frappe. I took them to go. Both were great, the wrap had lots of flavor even on a regular tortilla. The huckleberry frappe hit the spot for my craving of something sweet but not too sweet.

It was hopping. Both drive up windows had a line of cars, but were moving quickly. It made me skeptical of the coffee I was going to get; but wow, I was blown away. The latte was perfect. And hot. And served quickly. I think I hit the trifecta. Add the friendly greeting and it was perfection all around. Maybe I was tired. Maybe after drinking my home brew for a week in the real middle of nowhere, I was ready for something made by someone else and anything would have wowed me. I don't think so, though. Like most coffee places, there are plenty of flavors to add to both hot and cold beverages, so you aren't limited. The sizes are consistent with all other coffee shops even for being in the locale it is. And you have to love the Montana no sales tax life. The price is the price shown. There's plenty of space around Montana High, so anyone who prefers to take a break from driving and walk around a bit, can do it. It's a win-win all around.
