So all the water runs threw the balcony down to the lower leave and then down into my basement, threw the cellar door. They did not offer us and option to close it the gaps. And now they want more money ---a lot more--to make repairs. And to top if off, they left wood and nails under the porch they did not think we would find. Yet they had a dumpster at my home for a week. Please do not use this company. They will mess things up and just ask for a 5 star review.

We hired E&E for our exterior renovation project. This was by far our largest project we have ever…read moredone. The project consisted of replacing the roof, windows, siding, front door and building a portico. Our home was built in 1966 - so the windows and siding were original. The old windows were single pane and the siding was aluminum. In addition - part of the front of the home was brick. We absolutely couldn't be happier with how the renovation turned out. From start to finish the team at E&E was fantastic. Wallie worked with us through the estimate process. Alan was our project manager. Jason and his crew replaced the roof. Johnny, Merv and Sammy replaced our windows, siding and front door. And last but certainly not least - Jordan and his team did the masonry work. There were a number of decisions/changes that needed to be made on the fly and never once did I feel like it was an issue. Alan was always reachable via phone, text and email. Johnny was onsite for the majority of the renovation - so I could always approach him as well with any questions or concerns. I'm very particular about how I want certain things and I can attest that the craftmanship is top notch. The crew is very personable, they show up on time and they keep their work site clean. We have a couple of interior projects that we are thinking about doing in the future and we won't hesitate to reach out to E&E! Thanks again guys for everything!

In…read moreBerks County PA when it comes to home improvement it's often hard to get someone to return your call for an estimate, much less show up. Jason's 2 man crew showed up like a boss (pun intended). Horvath Chimney Service was recommended by the neighbors but I wasn't sure if they were just happy because someone actually showed up (refer back to the previous comments). Btw I'm still waiting for the lock service to show up for their appointment from 1997 and the furnace cleaning crew from 2001 - but I digress... So the Horvath crew showed up in person to give an estimate for repointing the massive chimney on an extremely pitched roof. I had managed to get 2 other estimates but they were ridiculous compared to Horvath. Both of the other companies wanted 3 times the money and would take twice as long PLUS they assumed there would be extra charges. Horvath was the only one to actually get on the roof. Their high estimates were supposedly due to equipment rentals however Horvath was using the same equipment. I'm so glad I chose Horvath. Jason (the boss) is very sincere and trustworthy. He gives a firm estimate and is very clear about what the job will entail. They did a wonderful job repointing the chimney. The work was thorough and the new mortar closely matches the old. For the new chimney cage, I had already purchased one from another company (it was a coupon offer) but that company sent the wrong off the shelf cage although Jason's guy had provided photos with accurate measurements. Thankfully Jason recognized this error and ordered the custom size that I needed. He had to return later to put it atop my sky high chimney but the added cost was very reasonable. They cleaned the fireplace and naturally did a fine job of it too. Throughout, Jason has excellent communications and I was confident in his crew's capabilities. I never worried about what was to come. I'll have them back to clean the chimney next year. In the meantime, I highly recommend them. It seems too good to be true but you can believe it. Although. the unit was not still under warranty, owner Nate agreed to replace it free of charge as it had not been frequently used . Installer Shawn did a meticulous job replacing the drawer with a unit that was superior in quality to the original. This company stands firmly behind it's products and does excellent work
