They had much more of a selection than pure hockey in Monroeville. They provided great service. I had some rivets replaced on my son skates they only did the ones that were in need of replacing and did them in a timely manner and they have a great clearance section as well. Sometimes you can snag some great deals from that section as we know hockey equipment can be very expensive! Every time I've gone in the staff has been very helpful and knowledgeable

Sometimes there is a white board near the door which helps it not be so invisible. After that doorway, you must traverse a long hall, go through a door, then walk down another, much shorter, hallway to reach the store. The people and equipment here do a great job sharpening skates. The store is always well stocked with a variety of hockey essentials like hockey tape, bags, and sticks. There is also a nice selection of branded team gear for some of the teams based in the arena. A lot of the items (like the "must have so you're really part of the team" decals) are stupidly expensive. But most of the items are reasonably priced, and there is also a sale rack which occasionally has some very good bargains. So, if you just want an overview of this place, stop now and shop happily. But, I recently had such a horrible experience with this shop, it took away almost all of the positive feelings and experiences I have had at the location over the years. So, read on if you want to hear someone complain. Ice Hockey, in case you didn't know, is already a prohibitively expensive sport. There are a lot of up front costs, as well as a multitude of associated and hidden costs. KO Sports is doing a great job of continuing this money-grabbing tradition. This season, my son's team required three jerseys per player. The only place to get them? KO Sports at the rink. Okay. So, we order the ridiculously expensive jerseys. The person at KO Sports tells us one will automatically have the last name on the back, but asks what we want on the other two. First name? Last name? Nickname? It's our choice. Really? We thought it had to be the last name. No, it can bee whatever we want. So, we choose our kid's first name for the other two jerseys. Eventually, the custom jerseys arrive. All three look great and are high quality. We are happy. Then, the season starts, and the coach flips out about the jerseys. If my son wears them, he won't be allowed to play. The other teams could have him removed from the ice, and penalize the whole team. (Even though they literally played against a team with a kid who had no name at all on his jersey, and his number was made from hockey tape...) So, we need to order new name plates for the jerseys. The person at KO says it will take time. They need to make the new name plates, then coordinate a time that works for them and us so they can have the jerseys for a few days in order to remove the old names and sew on the new ones. It will cost $20, so a lot less than entire new jerseys. But still an added expense, and unfair because we were told we could choose the name. Weeks later, the names are finally replaced. And we are charged $53! They justify this by saying it was $20 PER jersey, and also they accidentally took off both of the jerseys' Stop Sign patches while they were replacing the names, so we had to pay to get those resewn, too. Outrageous! And they knew they had us by the ... hockey pucks ... because we needed those jerseys for our kid to continue playing. So, we hand over our money. Yes, they actually did make the first and additional name plates and they actually did sew everything. But, that initial offer of letting us have any name on the jerseys ended up being a huge expense and inconvenience. If this place is going to be the official jersey provider for a team, they need to know the rules. I feel like I've had my time and money unjustly taken from me.
