I rarely write negative reviews but I relied on the position reviews of Mo to try her tailoring…read moreservices and I am very disappointed. I had her alter a pants suit, among other items, that needed to be taken in quite a bit. She did ok on the pants (though I had asked her to try to fix a bit of bagginess in the seat and they are still a bit baggy there). But her work on the suit jacket is atrocious. There are three seams down the back and she apparently only took in one and so now the two sides of the jacket flare out like some weird peplum instead of laying flat. And I had her take in the waist of a pair of pants and she didn't tell me that they would be too wide in the leg without taking in the legs as well so they are also not wearable. And to boot, the pressing by the dry cleaning I used through her was disappointing as well. And I had already had her fix something else on the jacket that was unsuitable after the initial tailoring but now I do not trust her to fix the jacket and will be taking it elsewhere. I think the earlier proprietor was named Anna, but the current proprietor is Mo.

I came back about 2 weeks later [this was during the holiday season and we spoke about when I needed the dresses, when I would be able to pick them up, etc. ] and she asked me to try them on again to see if they were to my liking length wise showing the quality and pride she takes in her work. She charged $60 per dress but it was well worth it. I wore the dress to my cousin's wedding in January and got so many compliments and it wasn't dragging on the floor!

We didn't have time to take it to our home tailor (who initially altered it to add cups), so we needed someone who could help us same-day. We called Erica's Tailoring and the man who answered said he didn't have a tailor in that day, but that he could do it for us if we came by. Initially we were a little hesitant because of this, but we didn't have many options for our timeline so we decided to trust the mostly positive reviews and give it a chance. I'm so glad we did! The gentleman was very kind and would not accept my fiancee's money at all for the repair. We had taken out cash to bring based on the reviews here and he refused even a tip, so we are happily leaving a positive review, at least, in exchange. He was quick with the mend and it seems to be as good quality as our tailor back home. This place really saved the day for us!

I wouldn't take semi formal dresses here…read more I asked to get two dresses tailored, and they aren't replaceable since I didn't buy them at a big box brand. My requests weren't fulfilled for either dress as the collar still doesn't lay flat with one, (and the shoulders were taken up so much that the dress sits too high on my rib cage making it uncomfortable and causing the zipper to not close all the way) and the seamstress refused to do simple tailoring things I ended up having to do myself, like lowering a neckline on the other dress. In total, the cost was 55$ so not terrible of a price, but I'm still out 55$ now.
