I enjoyed the sandwich enough that I got a pound of pulled pork to go (now in the freezer after a suitable sampling) one thing I like is that the pulled pork is just that. It comes with sauce on the side although. The smoke and flavor of this pork is excellent and did not require any sauce to be thoroughly enjoyed. The lobster rolls are packed with flavor and something you want to gobble down because they are so good (but also really want to savor). The buns are fresh and don't seem to get soggy. I really like the lobster bisque because it actually does have pieces of lobster in it, but they definitely seem to have cut down on the amount. Even with long lines, they tend to move efficiently and you get your food fairly quickly. The only reason I'm not giving five stars is because it seems like the portions have shrunk a bit despite prices going up.

It's a safe menu, sure, but Ernies makes every meal fresh and made-to-order. This means that it takes a little longer (my Italian sausage with onions and peppers took probably 6-7 minutes), but being so fresh and at an extremely reasonable price of $4, it was well worth the wait - especially considering the guys behind the counter were personable and more than willing to chat with me while they were cooking, as it wasn't too busy.
