I love massages. You name it most likely I tried it. I never had an Indian barefoot massage though…read morebefore. It was my first time today. Kirstin is very professional, personable and a lovely person all around. She explained how everything will work and it was one of the best massages ever. You lay in a dark room, relaxing music, on the floor (not on a bare floor of course, but on soft matress ) with blankets on you to make sure you are warm and comfortable. Kristin uses warm oil and essential oil of your choice. Its like getting yoga while lying on the floor. All my muscles were lengthened and relaxed. Especially I loved work on my neck and shoulders. It felt so much better than your regular massage. At the end you feel energized and relaxed at the same time. I do work a lot at the computer but after this massage my neck feel so great like I just had a great yoga class and massage back to back. It was easy to book online and location is easy to get to from 217 or 26. Can't say enough good things. I will definately come back.

I have been under some extreme stress and focusing so much on others, that I finally decided enough…read morewas enough and went on Yelp and found two massage therapists I thought I'd try out--one last week and one this week. Little did I realize until I booked the 2nd massage with Kristin Davis of Relax PDX, that both massage therapists worked out of the same office, just different rooms. So last week it was Kim of Massage Naturally, and today it was Kristin Davis. Bottom line: I loved both of them and have re-booked with both for future sessions. Kristin was super personable and down-to-earth and we actually got caught up in a conversation about a topic that came up from my intake form. I enjoyed the chat and I appreciated even more that she still dedicated an entire hour to the massage itself. She listened to exactly what I wanted from the massage and made it entirely relaxing, while also working out some extreme tightness in my shoulders. I almost hate to share her name because she is not too easy to get in with...but she was too good to begrudge her a 5-star review because I selfishly want to keep slots open for me. So there. I shared. I'm glad I did my research and picked Kristin. She is great.

I normally don't have much trouble with my back, neck, etc. So I had never gone for a real massage before. I have to say, I am a convert. I felt wonderful after each massage, very restored and pampered. The atmosphere is great (and is created without reliance on scented things - I get the impression that someone there even does aromatherapy - but knowing I have lots of allergies and sensitivities, for my appointments nothing perfumed/scented was involved).

She specializes in Chapatti Thermal, also known as "Foot/Rope Massage" -- which is a very old form of massage originating from India. There are very few people in the US that do this particular work, and this was definitely one of the best massages I have ever had. It was invigorating and healing. Kirstin is was very helpful with lots of great information about Chapatti before, during, and after the session. The Massage Naturally studio is home to multiple therapists in a convenient location with ample parking. The studio itself is exceptionally well designed and offers a calm, soothing, relaxing place for healing therapy. Bonus: If you're feeling hungry/thirsty after your massage, there's even a few great pubs nearby! I highly recommend that you call to book ahead as the studio does not accommodate walk-ins. there are multiple Therapists there, so you will need to do a bit of research to find the right one.

I have been in some intense pain for the past 13 days stemming from a culmination due to sitting…read morelong hours in front of the computer due to the nature of my work including long 1hr commutes to and from work in the car and also from bad posture doing other things, such as looking down at my phone and playing games. I was in a desperate search to find someone who can provide a solution to my pain. The other day I went to my physician and was prescribed some muscle relaxants but I knew that was just a temporary remedy and not the solution to my problem. I needed a professional who understood the body, how to treat muscle pain and how to remove the knotted muscle causing the stress in my neck and back. This is where Kay at Gentle Cloud Spa came in. My doctor had referred me to a local massage clinic in Tigard but that location had no availabilities and their reviews were across the board so I decided to scour the surrounding areas for someone who I felt was capable enough in relieving the major pain I was experiencing. I decided to give Kay a try and boy did she worked wonders for me. I went with the 90 minute deep tissue massage and she helped relieve the main causes of pain in my back and neck. Kay was very thorough, she educated me during the process as to what may have been causing my issues and went to work. Throughout the process, I can feel her work on so many areas and knots that were scattered throughout my body- places where I felt no pain yet was directly contributing to the cause of the pain I was experiencing. Her hands and elbows, including her feet, are very strong. She incorporated stretching techniques that I've never experienced before as well as break-apart those painfully, knotted areas. She said when I first arrived, she knew I was in pain because I was hunched over and my posture was bad, but when she finished 90 minutes later, I felt more loose and the tension in my body went away. Kay really knows the body well. She has over 14 years of experience and was once a nursing student as well as work at a chiropractic office in the past which I believe puts her above the rest. I have worked with many masseuses throughout the years back in the Bay Area, some were good while others were only tied to their routines, but Kay knew what technique to incorporate (Tui Na) style and how to remedy my painful situation. Last Monday, I went to a massage therapist in Newberg and I felt that the masseuse was only following her standard routine and did not nothing to relieve my pain. I felt that visit was a waste of money and I won't be going back there, but visiting Kay this afternoon was worth my time and investment. I also met Rachel who was very kind and help set me up with a massage package which I believe is well worth it since the nature of my work and routines won't change and may cause some pain again in the future. Don't take your body for granted like I did- we are all so busy in our daily lives with doing so many things up until our bodies start hurting really badly and then we have no place to turn to for help. I believe that the body needs maintenance from time to time due to many circumstances in our life. Take care of your body, get a massage to relieve the stress and tension from daily life, follow the natural way of allowing it to heal with minimal use of medicines as it can take a toll on your internal organs. Kay is a firm believer in this and now I'm a firm believer in her and the techniques she uses. Thank you Kay for helping me today- I am forever grateful and I'm looking forward for more sessions in the future.
