. This center is not equipped for those that are diagnosed with any mental illnesses, such as Bipolar disease. If you have a mental health concern, please GO SOMEWHERE ELSE because they will not know how to respond and will not help! If you have a need, get in touch with a clinical psychologist and know you did the right thing. I had a loved one in crisis and they did nothing but allow it to happen. Although it was clear my loved one was in complete crisis and the center saw my loved one....the therapist did nothing. She allowed my loved one to go to jail and now my loved one is in a mental facility. Thank you, Still Waters Counseling Center. (For a year of nonsense) Just wow. This staff is not responsive- or responsible. Please save yourself and save yourself the time and trouble. read more

I saw a couple therapists at this location though and after my awful divorce: during that time I thought everyone was so helpful and sweet. I ended up having to move 45 min away uproot my kids again and start over. I took a break from counseling for a while and when I called back in to start back up I was informed that a bill had gone to collections. Either my ex husband got the bill or my mailing address hadn't been updated. Either way I was in a crazy time of my life and would hope some grace would be extended. I immediately took care of the bill and asked at that time if they would be able to schedule online counseling services and was told not at the time. So I decided there was no way I could commute at least I found out about the bill and satisfied it. Fast forward another year and I'm a caregiver for my mom with dementia and it's taken a toll. I reach back out and see if I can schedule or see if they are offering online again and the women said I would need to schedule as a new client: I said I had been there before it had just been a while. They review the account and tell me that they are not allowed to book anything for me since I have an account in collections. In fact multiple accounts. I said I was unaware of any balances and if I had any I would be happy to pay them now. That I had no issue paying them. I was then put on hold for what was a decent amount of time the office manager gets back on to tell me they wanted to review the account and I had in fact paid off the balance but they are still unable to book me since I had an account go to collections. I offered to pay services upfront for an extended time and they still said no. Making me feel like they just didn't want to provide ME services. I could easily pay a year in advance and they still won't book me after I was a client for as long as I was? If the therapist just didn't want to take me on as a client due to a conflict of interest you would think that would be communicated in an adult mature manner. I'm baffled. Crazy thing is that I have been referring people to them over and over and over again for over 3 years. read more

I have been a client with Still Waters Professional Counseling for the better part of 2 years now. I could not be happier with the care I have received and the facilities have always been inviting and quite comfortable. The Therapist's professionalism and ability to zone in on the root cause of an issue has always been an important part of the reason I have always come back. I would NOT recommend Still Waters to any one. They made a difficult time in my sons life worse. Has a service that is suppose to help people during difficult times they added stress to it. They were all about logistics and how the office did things and nothing about the client. It was so frustrating at a time when we needed compassion. We are so happy to say we found a therapist that from the initial phone call was a million times more helpful and caring than Still Waters was. They seem to operate out of their own egos more than from the heart. If I could I'd give them negative stars. read more
