The host is great at selling the place online, but the actual property does not live up to expectations. -the host explicitly said there'd be salt, but there was none - the propane for the grill was all but empty, forcing us to adjust our cooking plans - there was no smoke detector in the bedroom - the screened in porch was badly ripped in multiple spots - there was not ottoman - the gas fireplace was not functional - the neighbors are closer than presented in the photos - the host claims "absolutely no light pollution", yet several neighbors have bright outdoor lights My biggest issue, though, is the host lies through an automated message to fish for good reviews. Then, if she has any inclination you'll give her a negative review, she refuses to review you. She says "hi, I just gave you a 5 star review", but a week later I still never got a review. This is someone's investment property, and they charge a premium price for a poorly maintained facility. Take your business elsewhere if you're looking for honesty and integrity. read more

Quiet little cabin, nicely furnished. Well equipped! Beautiful little getaway spot. Location is spectacular for hiking the buffalo River trails. read more

What an awesome little cabin at a very reasonable rate. The owner has thought of everything from fire pit, gas grill inside the screened in porch, to Roku tv access. The inside has a gas wood stove, comfy couches and a very comfortable queen bed upstairs. The sunset views from the screened porch are awesome. Great get away and super quiet. read more
