I became acquainted with Anne Lassahn 16 years ago. Since then, she has provided services for several of my clients, all of whom have thanked me profusely for the referral. One 90-year-old client wanted to "resign" from administering her own trust and finances, and designated Anne and her firm to take over. Anne's partners were caring, checked in on my client regularly, arranged for her medical appointments, took her shopping, provided accountings. In effect, Anne and her firm gave my client security in her last years, and the ability to rest from mundane tasks. Anne did so with kindness and professionalism, all in the interests of the client. Anne is also protective of her clients. One ill client entrusted her with the administration of his trust, knowing that his children were not the best choice. Beset by adult children who were behaving as if on a soap opera, Anne firmly administered the client's trust so as to carry out his instructions to the letter. Strongly advise to avoid using this company. I lived at property that Lassahn Fiduciary managed for a period of time from approximately November 2022 to October 2023, after my previous landlord passed away. In short, they were awful. They were disorganized, unprofessional and at times downright inhumane in their treatment of me as a tenant. They had many problems with disorganization in terms of the management of repairs, preparation for the sale and other necessary services at the property. Their property manager was clearly spread too thin and was unable to effectively manage construction and repairs. On two separate occasions, after asking for basic services/rights as a tenant, they used their lawyer to threaten me. At one point, they threatened to evict me, posting notices all over my front door on a Sunday night with a litany of ridiculous false charges. They also did not follow my former landlord's will. For example, they discarded a family heirloom piano that my former landlord had specified to be restored and donated to a music program for underserved folks. When I asked about this piano, I was told it was inconvenient and costly to deal with the piano. Ok, but this was my former landlords wishes, a piano that was an important piece of her family heritage and that she wanted to continue to be used beyond her time (and she had the money set aside for it to be restored). When I asked Anne Lassahn about the piano, she told me that they were "getting rid of it" and seemed completely unswayed by the conversations I had had with my landlord about it (as well as the documentation in the will with instructions about the piano). Just one example of so many terrible instances with this company. I'm also aware that they had challenges in communication and also threatened legal action with beneficiaries of the estate. Avoid this company. They are sharks and not to be trusted. read more

I am shocked by the negative "reviews" of Lassahn Fiduciary and Anne in particular. I met her several years ago when my father became very ill and his wife would not pay for the 24-hour/day health care he needed. Anne was appointed by the court to serve as his conservator. She came in, assessed the situation, seeing where the problems were. She came in initially as the conservator for his health issues, but soon thereafter as his financial conservator. She made sure he got the healthcare he needed, reporting back to all parties exactly what was happening, and made sure the bills were paid. Equally importantly, she visited my dad regularly, showing such compassion, kindness and true caring. We could not have asked for a better human being to help my father - and the family as a whole - than Anne. She is responsible, compassionate, trustworthy and above-board in her actions.
