The timeline had me a little stressed at the end but he got them done in time and the mastering engineer barely had to touch them!

So after relocating to NYC I came down to visit Crash (pre-covid) to pick up some audio files. The…read morenew facility is amazing with the control room having a perfect monitoring room. The whole construction of the studio level ups far beyond any other medium-large set up I seen and revivals if not, beats many NYC studios. It is hard for me to describe how amazing it is but let me quote their webage so I won't paraphrase anything. "The New Studio Crash is a beautiful recording studio built from the ground up to be world class in the field. With a nice large control room, a huge 840sq ft. live room with 14 ft slanted ceilings, an isolation room, a vocal booth, and two separate amp closets we have plenty of isolated spaces to get great sounds without the need to overdub everything. This makes it possible to record very large groups live and still have plenty of elbowroom and acoustic separation. Construction. Many studios may beautiful on the surface, like ours, but what's really important here is the stuff you don't see. So what is inside the walls and below the floor? Our construction entailed room-within-a-room construction. This means the walls you see are actually TWO (2) walls; each of which have two layers of " drywall and special acoustic insulation for sound absorption and a 6" air-space between them. These walls are floating on a layer of neoprene for even more sound isolation. The two pieces of glass in the 8 foot window separating the control and live rooms are each 1/2" thick, adding to the sound control. Under our new strand woven bamboo flooring, each room has its own individual "floating" concrete slab, decoupling it from the other rooms' floors. Even the HVAC was carefully planned, with every send and return having it's own insulated flex-duct all the way back to the HVAC unit. We even installed that HVAC unit in a separate building to keep it's mechanical noise far away from the studio space. The new studio's room acoustics are wonderful. Careful consideration in the design was spent on choosing room ratios as mathematically non-correlated as possible, in order to achieve evenly distributed axial, tangential, and oblique room modes. This means we get an amazingly smooth and accurate frequency response in the room ambience. This is something practically impossible to achieve without building from scratch like we did here." Mike is a PRO PRO PRO engineer. He has a new control surface going from a C24 to a D-Command as well as some focusrite preamps. He can also work on analog consoles as well as digital. The only downside is the breakroom can use some working on (unfinished floors) and parking is a bit troublesome, (I parked in the CVS lot across the way) but what can you do?!? I'd take that perfect mix over anything! See you soon again Mike!

Jaclyn and Talia have made our ceremony so romantic & timeless. We found Jaclyn just 7 weeks before…read morethe wedding, only because we lost our first ceremony musician. I'm actually very glad that it happened because working with Jaclyn has been nothing but pleasant, efficient and satisfying. Her songs selection/list is absolutely great. They even have video games theme songs which are perfect for us since my husband is a big fan of video games. Our friends noticed the video game theme songs playing during the cocktail hour immediately! We had them playing the Beatles and Hail & Oates for the ceremony and they sounded excellent. We told her that we really like Blackbird by the Beatles. Jaclyn and her team, Talia, learned it and played it at the ceremony as the song for the bridal party entrance and we absolutely love it! On our wedding day, they were being punctual. Ended up working with Jaclyn was one of the best things that happened to our wedding.

I knew from reviews that they were talented, and from emails and phone conversations that Jaclyn was professional, accommodating, and quite funny. However, I could not have expected the amazing job that they did at our wedding! Our ceremony, and song choices, were interfaith and somewhat unconventional. Trillogie Trio played beautifully and timed every note exactly to make the entrance and departure for guests and bridal party spectacular! It is unfortunate that we were only able to speak with Jaclyn for a few short minutes on that day because she and her fellow musicians were a huge part of making it so very special! They even posted pictures of the ceremony on their Facebook page. Just one example of the extreme care that they take of their clients.

Front Row Seat Productions - Robert Bullington Owner, Front Row Seat Productions LLC

I know the owner, Rob, personally. I considered him a friend. So, after spending 3 years planning a…read morehuge event with a lot of moving parts, we figured, hiring Rob at Front Row Seat Productions was a no-brainer. Hiring him meant that we wouldn't have to worry about the video and audio (which we would very much need for future marketing of the event as well as having a record of it). After we got the video back, we were shocked at just how pixelated, out of focus, grainy, blurry, overexposed (at times) and mostly dark everything was. Yes, the room was dark, to begin with, but one would think that someone who does this for a living would say, "Hey guys, we're going to need light in here!", "We may have to rent some lights!" He had already been at the venue at least 3 times before the day of the event! Never a light meter in hand, nothing. The event was 6 hours. Why couldn't Rob, at some point during that time, have gotten our attention to let us know what was happening? NOPE. We didn't even get a heads up as to how bad the footage looked when it was delivered to us. No "I'm sorry, this isn't my best work", "Hey, I did everything I could do". Nothing. He just waited for us to bring our displeasure to him. I explained how frustrated I was with the outcome and all I got back from him was how frustrated HE was. We even paid him upfront in FULL! No apology, no "Let me see what I can do", no offer of a refund or even a partial one. NOTHING. The biggest waste of thousand of dollars ever. I attached some screenshots of the video to this review. These were some of the BETTER ones--just to give you an idea as to how bad the rest of it is. If I had shot this on my cell phone it would've been 1000x better. I'm sure this review will receive a reply from Rob as to how this was somehow our fault or he's being misrepresented--it's just a shame because I considered him a friend. I won't make that mistake again. Never again.
