It's a great place for a run or walk, and there are a couple of cafes nearby as well (Mika is adjacent to the park, and has a good value lunch; Van Dikke is not too far either, in the nearby Park). Keep an eye out for sculptures on the ground and in the air, as you wander the paths through trees and around lakes.

Picknicken met de meisjes op het gras. De meisjes amuseren zich rot met al de andere kindjes. Spotgoedkoop maar goud waard!

However, the great thing about the park was simply its greenery, even in the early evening the place was pleasant.

Anyway, I had no idea that this place existed and simply stumbled across it as I was wandering through Antwerp attempting to get from one part of the inner city to another. From where I was standing I noticed quite a lot of greenery so decided to spend some time and have a look around. Unfortunately my brother wasn't too keen on hanging around so we ended up heading off elsewhere soon after.
