Truly disappointed in this place. I went in there today and Stephanie(short blonde, not sure about her name) cut my hair. There were 2 other barbers in there, one younger who cut my hair before and the other older whom I had never seen before. Stephanie and I were discussing retirement locations and Mexico was brought up. At that point, the older looking barber decides to chime in with her immigration issues (illegal aliens). Without getting into details, she believes deportations of illegals by the USA should not be done. I am a 2nd/3rd generation Mexican American. My mother and grandparents all came here legally as IMMIGRANTS, not illegals. This older barbers seems to have some issues and needs to learn to mind her own business and not mix politics or personal opinions on politics with business. Hence, as a LEO and Marine vet, I will no longer continue giving Stews my business. read more

My husband had been going to get his haircuts as well as our boy's haircuts at great clips. It was always a hit or miss especially the one located by stater bros. He would come home look in the mirror and go back to get his hair fixed. He would only go because of the online appointment... he eventually got tired and tried Stew's barbershop across the street. Every child's first haircut is a special moment for the mom, at 16 months I felt my little dude was ready for his. So we took Dad and him into Stews to get the barber shop experience. Angel was Christopher's barber and I couldn't be more thankful! She was so gentle, patient, and kind to my little dude. He sat in the big boy chair for her and she gave him the cutest little faux hawk that can also be worn as a (tiny) gentleman's cut. He looks so handsome! We definitely will be returning to Angel for future cuts. We absolutely love Stews! My Fiancé is a regular here and always leaves looking so handsome. Plus, you can't beat their prices! We went in on a Saturday at 9ish. The wait was maybe 5 minutes. We were greeted right away. There was a lot for my kiddos to look at and play with to keep them busy. Tina did an amazing job with my 3 year olds hair cut. My son had a bad experience somewhere else and was very scared to get another haircut. Tina was patient . She showed him each object she would use and tell my son what she was going to do next (every step). This was the first time he did not cry at all ! They have little horsey chairs and an old time barber feel (nostalgic). I was very happy with the end result. And they are super affordable. Other places charge me at least 20.00 for a kids cut. This barber shop is hit or miss. Last time I went they did a good job, but it was someone that had 10 years experience. Today my son and I went and when we were done in the shop it looked okay (dark terrible lighting inside) when we got home I could see how uneven the fade was for both of us. Good thing I have clippers at home and could fix it. For $50 I'm not very happy. I only would recommend this shop if you make sure you go to someone that has experience. Now I know why she didn't give me a mirror to look at the back or sides closer. She had me spun away from the mirror the entire time. She was not confident in her hair cutting. I feel like anyone who has graduated from cosmo school in the last few years does not know how to cut a man's hair. Train your people!!! read more

However, this time around the lady cutting my hair spent more time trying to get to know me instead of just cutting my hair. I get it, they just want to be friendly and start a conversation and that's okay. I'm not the best at articulating what I want but each other the three stylists at the Wildomar and Temecula have always been patient with me and exceeded my expectations. When I was at the Temecula location one afternoon, a regular customer overheard me saying I was getting my haircut for my wedding which was a few days later. The other customer paid for me haircut flat out! I'm so thankful to him, especially because I didn't have a lot of money. Went in for a trim clean up sides and goatee very clear with the lady first thing she does is grabs clippers and shaves the sides and my mustache off ?? By far one of the worst haircut experiences ive ever had. She rushed my haircut as if there were 50 people waiting except there was no one else there and I was probaly the first customer all day. Generally I just get a zero all over and I refuse to pay supercuts $17 to do such a hair cut. This place does it for $11. My husband went in for a haircut and the gal had him turned from the mirror the whole time, didn't listen to what he asked for and shaved his whole head. 5 days before Thanksgiving. Love this barber shop! My little guys (7 and 4) always look forward to their haircuts with Angel and Amanda. They are very sweet, patient and always give them the cuts we want. They never leave with sloppy or poorly cut hair and my boys come out looking handsome and polished each month. Barber Shop decor is awesome, but not as awesome as my haircuts. I waited to get a second haircut before writing this review just to make sure the results were repeatable. Best haircuts I have ever received. This is especially true since I don't have a complete head of hair.
