This was by far the worst experience I've ever had with health care. From the allergy testing, to…read morethe surgery I had, then to being billed for an error the billing department would not take action to resolve with the insurance company. When I went to get allergy testing, when the doctor ordered the tests, I told her that I was having allergic reactions and we discussed that it was possible the testing would fail because of that. Though there were no other patients waiting, two women came in and rushed through the testing. Turns out the testing failed, but they would not slow down. Then I was able to be squeezed in for a surgery. The nurse at the surgical center got too busy and I was taken back to have surgery before the pre surgery medicine kicked in. So I had to do the surgery fully awake and aware of what was going on. The doctor was so rushed that I just had to power through a nose procedure. I was crying, so I eventually was given a wash cloth to put over my eyes so I didn't have to watch the surgery. Then the same surgical center didn't call me, but someone else to check on me the next day. I specifically asked to have them call me when I was leaving, but they could not honor that simple request. When I went back for a check after the procedure, I think the doctor forgot I was waiting and I was in the appointment room after seeing the nurse for an hour before the doctor had time to come check on me. Finally, I assumed the billing would be a simple request to the insurance. The billing office sent the bill with an incorrect code. I asked them to submit an appeal with the correct coding, but the billing department incorrectly submitted the appeal. Rather than resubmitting the appeal with the insurance company (who said they would cover the procedure) the billing office started calling me and sending me communications that I was financially responsible for the procedure. I even got communication that my bill was late. Rather than working with the insurance company, the billing department kept sending me a copy of a form I submitted that IF the insurance was not willing to cover the procedure (which I was told multiple times the insurance company WOULD COVER THE PROCEDURE) than I would pay the bill. The insurance company was willing and able to pay, if they would have just filled out the paperwork correctly. This practice is not able to handle simple patient care to confirm if someone will be awake during surgery because they are busy filing paperwork. They are not able to handle insurance billing, and cannot handle simple requests.

These are the worst ENT's. They act like they don't care, they don't give you any advice, they…read moreheard you in like cattle and spend the smallest amount of time with you. Sometimes on the phone they seem to be rushing, but when you are in front of them, they take such good care. Dr. Huang is absolutely worth the 30 minute drive from my home. He is focused, answers questions and concerns with compassion and clarity, and asks good follow up questions so you don't leave feeling like you have missed something. It's awesome. Bob, hands down, is a treasure. Every single time I have needed an immunization, flu shot, or blood drawn, this man has been positive, caring, and gentle. He practices painless precision and as someone who would rather eat glass than get a needle in my arm, I can say he has never been impatient or whoopsied and caused pain. He just gets in. Plus, with his beard, he looks a little like Santa. It is a wonderful practice with good people. If you are looking for a PCP, I cannot recommend them higher.

Wow! Amazing patient care from the time I called to make my appointment to the time I left…read more Highly recommend, Dr. Kelly Metz and staff if you need to be seen for Allergy and Sinus relief!!! I was recommended to Dr. Metz's office for consultation and allergy testing, I was quickly scheduled. I was immediately greeted when I walked into the office by the receptionist and she efficiently double checked my information and I only had to update one form for them (excellent!). I was called back within 5 minutes, basically enough time to fill out the form - seriously :-) !! My nurse was super nice and explained everything that was going to take place for my appointment. Dr. Metz came in and spent a significant amount of time with me going over my history and finding out what kind of problems I was having. She then explained what the allergy testing would consist of. My nurse came back in, and again took the time to explain the testing and asked if I had any questions before we began. The actual testing was quick and painless, there are no needles involved - it's just a skin scratch now - bonus- I suppose! After all that, Dr. Metz came back in and again, spent another significant amount of time with me going over the results and a plan of action. I never once felt rushed or that they did not have time for me. It really feels like they cater to their patients. I am so happy, I definitely recommend Dr. Metz and her staff if you are having any kind of allergy, sinus or asthma problems! They so totally rock!

I'm incredibly picky about doctors, which makes my confidence in Madeira Family Practice notable. I…read moresee Dr. Messer, my husband sees Dr. Moore, and our twin babies also see Dr. Messer. Dr. Moore is a great doctor, and I like him, but I have a rapport with Dr. Messer. She is thorough, takes the time to understand what is important to you about health and treatment and will do further research if necessary. And she respects my decisions as a parent. She's also a really nice person who I enjoy having a conversation with. The nurses and nurse practitioners are all very solid-- helpful, caring and knowledgeable. I've had questionable experiences with the medical assistants, but it hasn't affected the medical care we've received. Also, the doctors are usually on-time for appointments, and I feel like the staff respects my time.

The ENTIRE staff is great. Starting from the great front desk staff, to the medical assistants that take you back, and of course, the doctors. I've seen 2 doctors (dr. Messer & dr. Sheridan) but I've met them all, and every single one is great. What makes this office great is the fact that the entire staff take the time to really get to know you.

The care along with the clean facility makes this the best place for healthcare on the west side!read more
