What exactly is this place? You decide We were across the street for dinner and decided we should check this out while we were in town. Holy Smokes! We are glad we did - this was like a carnival ride meets dive bar, meets disco... This place is a lot of adjectives and too many for one review. What I will say is it is crazy and cool! We again sat at the bar where all our senses were being accosted by all the inputs! But it was fun. No place to look that I was not sure what I was seeing! Too much? Nah! It's great. The bartenders (Brian or Ryan and Taz?) Were great and funny - the personalities matched the vibe. No BS just fun and factual! Fast service with well made cocktails. We saw other folks order food and a pretty delicious looking pizza was delivered - not a frozen reheated, but looked fresh and delicious. (Gonna have to try that later) Honestly just check out the pictures - it's too much fun! We will be back for drinks and pizza! I have been to this place a few times and it is very entertaining. There are lots of stickers to read but not only that but the people (customers) are always friendly and willing to talk and have a conversation with everyone. This place gives off a happy vibe. There is a young and old crowd. There is usually several people here when I visit, I have only been here after 5:00. There is plenty of craft beer to choose from and a full bar. The food menu is limited and we had the pizza. It was really good, loaded! The table service is limited so expect to go the to bar for refills. This is a must visit if you are in the area. P.S. We love Stevie C's. We first went there so we could watch a football game that wasn't available at home. We keep going back because the pizza is the best!! Terrific crust and good balance of toppings. Table and bar service is always friendly. Decor is unique There's a lot to look at there. Some of the stickers are pretty raunchy, others are hilarious. Let's just call them great conversation starters. We see a wide range of ages here. They have a pool table and a nice outdoor area. I appreciate that they don't allow party buses. Bartenders were attentive, and mixed a good drink, owner stopped over to say hi and thank us for coming in. Small town bar, nice and fitting on a summer's day when we stopped in. The owner was in the back kitchen fiddling with stuff, I went and asked him if we could play the jukebox as there was music going already. He replied rather nastily saying something to the affect of "I don't give a shit, it's what it's there for." He then offered to buy us drinks for the rest of the day and apologized. Stopped here only because they have a patio and we wanted to keep an eye on our bikes. Shocking, but there isn't a place in Grimes with bike parking, hey were people too. The place is hidden pretty well right in the old part of downtown. Kinda divey/casual so we weren't expecting much, but the owner let us park our bikes on the patio so we're in. Plus I'm a huge fan of sitting on a patio and enjoying a libation or two. This is a great hidden gem!!! The patio kind of reminds me of my Dads patio as a child. Surrounded on all sides by a fence and plants for that garden feel. A water mister to cool off, nice little covered bar outside, patio furniture everywhere. I haven't even got to the the good parts yet!! We ordered fries and an everything pizza. If the fires were any indication of how the pizza was going to taste we were on to something. They were cooked perfectly. Crunchy crisipity exterior moist tender inside, just they way I like them and pipping hot. Pizza comes and yes it was perfect. Crispy crust browned cheese and about an inch thick. If you like a cracker crust pizza you'll love Stevie C's. The owner was overly gracious and won all of us over immediately, you could tell he loved what he was doing and his hidden gem. While you are there take the time to read as many stickers as you can while you wait for that pizza. Oh yea and enjoy the atmosphere this bar is full of it. read more

Great little gem. If you're drinking alone the walls do talk (and have a lot to say.) But, you probably won't be alone for long. Drinks and laughter flowed through the night. Typical small town bar. Clean, service times have been consistently short, and has decent pizza. The bbq one is really good! Also the patio is pretty cool! I usually order beer so I can't really speak for their mixed drinks. Although I did try the Vegas bomb and it was pretty good. My girlfriend and I went to Stevie C's for a couple of drinks before dinner on Feb 08, 2012. We both were not sure what to expect but were more than happy. The place has a "dive" bar feel but it is immaculately clean and was quite busy when we stopped in. Brandon (the owner) greeted us, upon arrival, and suggested a couple of drinks to our liking. First, the apple pit shots that they make there are phenomenal. Second, my drink was never left empty, which is always a sign of great service. Brandon went through different food options and offered to make us a pizzza from scratch. We definitley would have taken him up on the offer if we did not have dinner reservations that night. Atmosphere: It is my perfect type of bar. Pool, games, music and cool decorations. Service: Outstanding. When I never have to flag the bartender down for a drink, I always am happy. When in Grimes, I enjoy stopping by Stevie C's. They have amazing pizza! My mom is obsessed and I don't mind one bit. I do always order fries too because they are so good!!! One note - they put parmesan cheese on like everything so I have to remember to ask for it to be left off as I am not a parmesan cheese fan. The décor is hilarious - they have bumper stickers and really stickers of all shapes and sizes. They are super funny and even after 100 visits, it seems like I keep finding new ones or laugh at the old ones over and over. They have a fun beer garden and patio behind the bar which is very nice when the weather cooperates. The owner is very hands on and is often there in the daytime/afternoon. He has a great staff that is awesome! There are a bunch of regulars who make newbies feel welcome and I sometimes just stop in for a drink knowing I will find someone fun to hang out with. They do have pool tables and a good jukebox. The thing about Grimes is that both Stevie's and Rehab are fun bars and you can't go wrong either way. read more

I ordered one of the two specialty drinks on the board behind the bar and the bar tender didn't know what I wanted, really it's right behind you. After that it took 15 20 minutes to get a food order and a second drink order placed. Food took so long I almost walked out and then it sucked. Will never return to this establishment! read more
