Kevin and his guys are the best. I'm generally mechanically…read moreinclined and can do my own work if I need to. Through the years, things have gotten busier, and time has gotten more precious and difficult to find to do even the more mundane routine maintenance tasks. No matter how many places I took my car, I just couldn't find anyone who could do good work, do it at a reasonable price, and do it quickly, it's always; pay through the nose, shoddy and unreliable work, and/or wait until sometime next year to get your car back. One day, my stepdaughter had an issue with her car and asked me if I could fix it, but there just wasn't any time for me to do it. I'm not certain how she got connected with Kevin, but she took her car there and he had her back on the road quick, and reasonable. As older cars do, she had another issue, went to Kevin again, and was again pleased with the work. The next time I had an issue, I decided because she had such great things to say, I'd send it to him as well. To say I was pleased is an understatement. This guy and his people have done something that is all too rare these days; they manage to provide great customer service, great pricing, and great work too. We've taken our cars there several times since for everything from a simple inspection to more complicated repairs that would've taken me weeks to do myself. It's always the same thing, nothing but good service. He always has cookies or some type of goodie which is a plus if you're there because something went wrong and he even has a toy box to keep the kiddos busy if you're there in a pinch. If you live anywhere within a reasonable radius of this place (I'm half an hour away myself), don't go anywhere else! My only complaint is that I wish more businesses treated their customers this way and took pride in their work like Kevin and his staff do.

This is by far the most stressful/ worst experience I ever had with a car repair.I took a vehicle…read morein by a recommendation that this place was A- one.Had a no start issue and a check engine light.I wanted a fuel pump along with a few other minor things repaired. I was in no hurry at first . But I think 5 1/2 weeks is a bit much to accept. He ended up installing a new fuel pump and filler nozzle. Got angry with me for asking to get my car back .He told me on 4 different occasions after my calls that they would be working on it later that day. He would tell me when to call then got mad when I did. I specifically asked if the tank had any rust issues. He told me no it was fine. They claimed they could not find/figure out why it had a cylinder 1 miss fire. When I picked it up as I had enough it was still missing on #1 .The fuel tank nozzle and breather tube were not even connected. He claimed they must have fell off. THERE wasn't any way that could happen. He told me I did not have to pay. But I pay my bills. NOW I WISH I WOULD NOT HAD PAID. I found the air intake was misconnected. My hood latch was broken. I ended up paying another garage again to drop the tank because the fuel pump was not installed properly. The second garage informed me the FUEL TANK WAS RUSTED AROUND THE FILLER AND LEAKING . !!!! AND YES IT WAS BAD !!! HE has HACKS WORKING FOR HIM and I told him so. The second garage found the miss problem in less then one day.!!!And fixed.

Quick List of Pros: 1. Open 7 days a week (even on holidays)…read more2. Incredibly fast and efficient when dealing with difficult situations 3. Honest and upfront. NEVER tried to swindle me or trick me. 4. Employees individuals who have hearts of gold 5. GO ABOVE AND BEYOND TO CATER TO THE NEEDS OF THEIR CUSTOMERS Special shout out to: Ken and Kevin By far the best experience I have EVER had at a mechanic. Not only are these guys professional and efficient, but they have hearts of gold. I came across Mr. Tire in Irwin PA completely by chance and arguably by the grace of God. See, I only became acquainted with this business because my car broke down 6 hours into my 11 hour drive from Southern MD to Michigan. My car broke down on the Pennslyvania turnpike on a Sunday.... HOWEVER, it was not just just any Sunday. It was the Sunday before Memorial Day. This was only the beginning of the long string of bad luck I was to be dealt that day. Long story short-1. my insurance company contacted a tow company they didn't even support, thus the payment was out of pocket 2. The tow company literally dropped me off at the auto mechanic and while I was inside, they literally drove off without checking to make sure everything was ok 3. Prior to leaving, the tow guy informed me that this business did free diagnostics and would be open until 7 pm ( this was untrue : the diagnostics was to cost approx.100 dollars and they actually closed at 5 pm). 4. I was dropped off at 4 pm- 1 hour before they close. Thus giving the mechanics VERY little time to figure out what is going on with my car. Well they actually managed to figure out what was going on- my throttle body was malfunctioning and would need to be replaced. No big deal, however they did not currently have it. This was particularly nerve racking because the next day was Memorial Day and the likelihood of not only locating the piece and getting the piece there by the evening was impossible before they closed. I was stranded. I had to locate and book a hotel/ travel to the hotel in about 20 min before they closed. Again, no big deal right? Not the case. Called two local taxi companies to no avail and the nearest uber was 45 minutes away. Again, I was stranded. This is when I am BLOWN away by the service of Mr. Tire's following employees: Kevin and Ken. Kevin took it upon himself to call several business around the area to plead with them to work with him in order to help locate the piece and strenuously organize the pick up for the part. He not only located the part, but made sure the part was going to be there FIRST thing the next morning. Again, mind being that it was Memorial Day. They had the part there by the time they opened at 7:30 and I was back on the road by 10 AM. That is absolutely incredible! By the way, my car has never run this good!!!! Finally there was Ken. Ken... There are few words that can even express my gratitude to you. You went out of your way and went above and beyond to make sure I was okay and safe. Instead of heading home after work, you took it upon yourself to drive completely out of your way to take me to my hotel. However, you did not stop there. You ensured that I made it into the hotel safe AND came to pick me up the very next morning so I could get back to my car. And finally, you brought me to absolute tears when I received a text message from you later on that afternoon checking in to make sure I made it home to Michigan safe. You are a beautiful person and literally my saving grace. Needless to say. If you need an honest and down to earth place to go for an auto mechanic, please take your business here. I have never once received customer service as exceptional as this in my entire life. Whomever is their boss, please consider giving them a raise. They deserve it.
