Have people that actually do their job! Also have someone in the main office a person should not have to call New York it took me almost half a day to get a phone call through to the dispatch. Left my number three different times for a call back never received it when I finally got through and paid the $700 for a fill on November 20th today is December 1st and we are still waiting for that delivery to arrive. Terrible company. Their price per gallon are .50 cents more a gallon then other local company. They filled my propane tank without my consent. I had changed my fill order to that I would call them from auto refill. They claim to be local , but they are not local. Do not do business with them read more

They used to be a good company, but since Superior plus took over their service has gone down hill. I am on auto fill and was schedualed for delivery 1/16 when they didn't show up I called and let them know I was down to 16% I was told not to worry they would be delivery soon. I waited a week and called again and got the same run around. They say say in their ads that "we energy to serve you" but guess they don't have the trucks to deliver it. Since I pre paid last summer they already have my money so there is no hurry deliver the propane. read more

Bought a house in 2021, the previous owners used stevens propane. I called them to change ownership on the billing. Gave them a information and I was told everything was taken care of. 4 months later I received a statement with the previous owners on it. I called them and no one answered for 4 days straight. When they finally answered they wanted me to fill out a credit form, I declined because we paid in full to fill the tank and again requested that they change the ownership of the account. I again gave them my information and I was assured it was taken care of. For the next 2 months statements continued to show up with the previous owners names and information. I called to cancel the service and request the tank be picked up (this was in late march) they finally pucked it up after 5 calls in late June. When we were told we had a credit on the account due back to us of $500 it would have to go to the previous owner because their names were still on the account. After calling them to ask why I was told I would have to speak to the manger (who the secretary was speaking to) and he conveniently in a meeting. I could hear him laughing and saying too bad in the background. This place is an absolute joke and they will rip you off and bend you over and not offer lube at every chance they get. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE DO BUSINESS ELSEWHERE. read more

Stevens Propane is the best company that I have ever dealt with. They have always been fair and friendly. We once ran out of gas...and it was our fault. We were not on the keep fill plan. They came right out and filled us up and then we had them put us on the keep full plan. They did not charge any extra, for coming out and it was on EASTER SUNDAY. Some wonderful guy left his family on Easter Sunday and took the time to come out and fill our tank. I had a house full of people coming over for dinner and when I got home from church....they had been there. You just don't get that kind of service anymore. read more

Stevens propane is by far the very best propane company around. The owners are always there helping to make sure your needs are met. There have been several times I have run pretty low and they have been able to get right out. The employees they hire are fantastic and if they don't know an answer to something they find out.
