The salon was busy when I went, and I did have to wait even though I had an appointment. My husband and his friend both showed video and picture references and the stylist didn't even finish looking at it and went straight to cutting. My husband's hair is literally a bowl cut in the front and in the back. His sides are long and bushy as well. There is definitely no blending going on anywhere.
