This meant I ended up with crowding of my lower teeth and shifting upper teeth as an adult. I went to see Dr. Jane about six months before my wedding in 2012, and she recommended Invisalign express. I was excited with the prospect of having my straight smile back before my big day, so I signed up immediately. Everything at the office is digital and technologically advanced, and my experience with my initial consult and fitting was quick and painless. Throughout my six months of treatment the staff was pleasant and engaging, and Dr. Jane was thorough and thoughtful. At the end of my six months (a month before my wedding) I found out that I would need an additional four to six months of treatment. This was a let down, but I wasn't too upset because by this time my teeth were straight and I'm much better condition than they were when I first began my treatment. I ended up having to go in two days before my wedding to have those nodules removed and had to return after my honeymoon to have them put back on. Since finishing treatment I've been back for follow-up appointments and once to get my retainers replaced, and have had good experiences each time. The only thing that I can comment negatively on is the fact that my treatment was quoted as being for six months, but ended up being a year. my payment plan was for set up to cover the term of my treatment, six months, which meant I paid a significant sum monthly. At the end of my quoted six month treatment I was paid in full, but my treatment had to be extended another six months. If there was a way to foresee my treatment being extended earlier the process it would have been nice to adjust my payment schedule.

We were ten minutes late to an appointment and they refused to see us. We have waited much longer…read morethan ten minutes before for them to see us. Brackets are constantly falling off, wires pop out constantly and they act like it's our fault. The front desk staff is extremely rude.

Talk about a fabulous person- friendly & personable, honest & straightforward about your overall dental health. She is a Dr that truly cares about her patients & it shows. Love that she takes the time to talk with you & answers any questions you have. Her staff are great! They really make you feel at ease, which I personally greatly appreciate! Whether you live close or not Dr G is the one you want caring for your teeth.

His gentle approach along with his knowledge, made my experience outstanding. His staff is great too! They were great at making me feel comfortable once I got over my fear of having braces in my forties. They are very organized. I was always seen at my scheduled time. Although, I can see why they opted to install high tech equipment in doctors' offices, perhaps to avoid any patient false accusations against their place of business. Also, I didn't want to spend extra $, treatment estimate, to help offset the cost of those nice beverages, cameras, and unnecessary services. Since the early year of my youth I desired to correct my gap, but it was not affordable. Now fast forward to the golden year of my (insert age here) life I took the plunge. Spending $2,500 - $6,000 on braces definitely required research. I searched several orthodontists and their backgrounds. I felt the most confident with Dr. Teifer based on her advanced training. The dental office is welcoming with bright colors and smiling faces. That is a good thing for parents with little ones since they offer pediatric dentistry. My visit was on a Saturday, which is the new patient consult day. I had x-rays completed, review of payment options and review of my dental needs with Dr. Teifer. After that, I decided to put money down and start treatment. My employer offers adult ortho coverage, so my out of pocket was not so high. Otherwise, I would not have gotten braces. For the cost of a daily latte I have begun the transformation process. The great part is they offer in house payment options with no interest. This made my decision much easier. There was a noticeable difference in my gap closure and teeth structure within a few months and I still have 12 months to go. My adjustment visits are planned in advance and last less than 30 minutes. The tightening of the wire was really uncomfortable in the beginning, but is manageable now since my space has closed up tremendously. At this point I have to wear rubber bands 24/7, which has taken me back to looking like a kid, but I love the results so far. Getting braces has made a difference for me personally and I feel comfortable at Today's Orthodontics. *update with photos once complete will posted*

I called the canton location because my not so permanent retainer fell off ($350) and I wanted to get it replaced. The rep on the phone tells me that I have a balance of $100 from that installation. Here we go with the billing nonsense again! I kindly tell the rep that I paid for my permanent retainer with my medical FSA and signed up for the remaining $100 to be automatically withdrawn from my account MONTHS ago. I've literally had my permanent retainer for months! So, when I call today you just casually tell me I have a balance? Why is this not something that was not withdrawn and/or rectified months ago? Here I am thinking that I'm paid in full and can get my retainer replaced. The rep tells me that she is going to call me back and won't schedule my appointment to get my retainer fixed until she figures out my "billing" issue. Honestly, enough is enough. I used to love this company and what it stood for, but it's just a hot mess. And why is my almost $400 retainer falling off anyway? I am leaving for Aruba tomorrow and cannot get my teeth taken care of. It's like I'm better off starting over somewhere else! I, like many, avoided the dentist as much as possible in my adulthood despite being in healthcare and advising my patients on the scope and sequence to better health. Do as I say and not as I do. Well no longer. Today, I drove to Robinson Dental without once feeling nauseated, thinking of turning around, or mentally cursing out another driver from misplaced angst. It was a freaking miracle. My experience with Dr. JD began a couple years ago when he was referred to me by a colleague at the hospital that I trust implicitly. This individual has been going there for years and continued even after a move now required an hour drive. Honestly, I was terrified. I hadn't been to the dentist in years and was apprehensive, embarrassed, and skeptical. While the initial visit was unnerving only due to my own neurosis, Dr. JD was kind, gentle, funny, and was never judgey, dismissive, nor condescending and continues to be all of those things. All of the others reviews are true. He calls to check on you the night after a procedure. He explains everything in as much detail as you'd like. He is straight forward and honest. He respects your time and discomfort. But while all of these statements are true they can not convey his earnestness nor convey all of the little bits that are inclusive in his magic. I know it sounds like hyperbole. It is not. Let me repeat. I did not have one negative thought about my appointment today. What was that? I just saw a pig flying... I also have to give a shout out to Jessica for calling me when there was a cancellation getting me in two weeks early. And to Paula for making me ultra comfortable physically and mentally. And to Dr. JD's father, who always has a smile, a kind word, and started something truly great. I have had my mouth completely overhauled and am confident that it will never fall into disrepair with the help of Dr. JD and gang.
