It's a small business with a tight budget, so while the machines/equipment may not be as shiny or fancy as those you'll find in a big-name club everything is in good working order and they'll get you sweating all the same. My one disappointment is the lack of a shower/locker room, it'd be nice to make the gym a stop on the way to work instead of a separate trip before commuting, but hopefully The Pulse will keep growing and add this feature for their members.

Wow! Where to start!? This is one of the BEST gyms in the Mankato area! I have been a member at…read moreFF10 for 3 years and have enjoyed every moment! Having a very clean, comfortable and spacious gym is a feeling like no other. The value and quality that you are able to receive by being a regular member of just 10 bucks a month is quite unreal when you look at this gym. They offer a large classroom where you are able to participate in virtual workout sessions through a large video screen. This room also offers a large space where they hold yoga class on Monday and Wednesdays! As with any gym certain times of the day are much more busy than non peak hours. However, even when I have arrived to workout during peak hours I have never had a problem having a machine to do cardio or to get on a weight station. Its a great feeling everytime I arrive at gym because the front desk staff is always there to greet you and ask how you are doing. At times when I have had questions regarding nutrition or proper techniques you can always ask one of the personal trainers on staff. At 24/7 gyms this can be difficult because they are not always staff; not at FF10 though, they always have someone there to help in any way! Having a clean gym is something you may not care about until you see dirt, hair and dust on machines at other gyms. It is very rare when I'm at the gym that the staff is not cleaning equipment or cleaning the floors. Fitness for 10 also has a great locker room with showers and lockers. I would highly recommended checking out Fitness for 10 if you are considering a new home gym. I have been a member at Snap Fitness, Anytime Fitnnes and student at MSU using Otto fitness center, and this gym by far exceeds them all in quality, space, and location. It has been very helpful for my health. Whenever I am there he does extra service for me with other modalities. He doesn't have to do that but he does. He has also offered me free nutritional advice. And he is a good nutritionist. He has good supplements. I don't see him for chiropractor care as I see someone else for this service. I would recommend him to everyone I come into contact that is interested in his services. He also gives me a free nutritional drink during my time there.
