Steven Conner has been my podiatrist/surgeon for the last 35 years. He performed extreme radical bunionectomy on both of my feet. I bragged him up to my associates and friends, even strangers. He also treated me for plantar fasciitis, and heel spurs. He was thorough and caring. But 30 years later 5 began experiencing extreme pain and numbness between my big toe and the next two toes. I expected the same treatment. Instead he told me I was a stupid old woman, verbally and repeatedly and multiple phrases. And he hat I was unable to make good decisions. He told me as he was screaming at me. Me in tears at this point. Then he began bragging himself up and told me he was the best in his field, and that was how come he had a beautiful red Maserati convertible parked outside. Then he told me I was incapable of making any kind of good decision because I was a stupid old woman and had no clue what I was talking about. I was 62 , working , and college educated. I filed a formal complaint with UPMC. I also saw a different very competent Podiatrist/surgeon . Who sent me for an MRI. The finding was that when my surgery was done by Conner, a screw and been put in , between my big toe and my next toe. This had impaired the movement and created a lot of scar tissue and caused calusing beneath the toe. It would continually get worse. The only course of repair was surgery to remove the screw and the scar tissue. However they would be unable to repair the lack of movement . I sent a lot of people to this Dr. Conner. I am truly sorry if you also had a bad experience. I would never ever recommend anyone to go there again . read more
