What a delightful surprise when two men showed up...on time...and did the job in record time. They were quiet meaning, he laid the tools down instead of dropping them in the work bucket. He laid the tools on the floor instead of the near-by furniture. Yes, I've been around some construction events and this is important. He was not going in and out like many do. Disappointed; needed roof looked at to address a leak. They responded quickly but didn't address…read morethe leak, only talked about existing hail damage(nowhere near the leak)and the need to replace the roof. Three other companies came to look, not one suggested the need to replace the roof, all were focused solely on source of leak. It wouldn't have been so bad if more options were given other than a full replacement of a roof 10 years old. He left without giving any sort of estimate regarding the replacement, I let it be known that we would be getting other opinions so I am not sure how I would been able to make an informed decision without something in writing. He also wouldn't leave me his business card when I asked for one; the entire interaction seemed off. To me, it seems like he must work exclusively by commission since he immediately only offered one, very expensive solution.

From no communication to miscommunication, wrong items and wrong colors being ordered, missing start and finish dates, and leaving things unfinished. Hail happened in May, talked with company in June, didn't side house until January, and the project still isn't complete and it's almost March. I recently had a window replaced on the first floor of my townhome. I was concerned about some mold…read moreand rot around the window and was hoping it didn't continue past the old window frame. The window replacement went smoothly and they assessed the situation and noted there was thankfully no other mold or rot below the old window. But they also made sure to spray some insulation of sort (if I'm remembering right) or some type of protectant to ensure nothing happened in the future. Matt did an exceptional job with a lot of challenges for a very reasonable cost. We then hired Hiley painting to do the interior of our whole house to prepare it for sale. Matt and our stager worked together to select colors that really made our home look excellent. The work was done beautifully, and it was done in plenty of time for our target date to be on the market. He also saw a few things we hadn't discussed (closets that really needed updating) and took care of them after consulting with me for a very fair price. We found a couple final details that no one had thought of, and Matt took care of them quickly and had some suggestions I wouldn't have thought of (e.g., using a different color than the white next to the cupboards so that the cupboards wouldn't look dated). We couldn't be more pleased with our experience with Hiley painting. They were professional, helpful and personable, fairly priced, and timely.
