He made feel super comfortable and made sure I knew he could take great pictures and catered to me in a lot of ways. He let me change outfits and jewelry and fix my make up as much as I wanted, he made sure to understand what I wanted from these pictures and assured me he could edit them to my desires also. He said he was a photoshop wizard and it took a week to get the preliminary untouched versions (which were great). And then he did everything he possibly could to make sure he knew what I wanted and execute it, he redid my Photoshopping at no extra charge because I was disappointed in the first set, which was possibly due to poor communication on my part. He was so nice, understanding and congenial from beginning to end. I would highly recommend him for his photography skills and professionalism, he will do his best to make sure you are satisfied.

We had a small,…read moreintimate ceremony with our closest family and friends in the Spring Valley Nature Park in Schaumburg, IL. Conrad was our photographer and he knocked it out of the park! For months before the wedding, their whole team was professional and quick with responding to any questions I had. They were transparent and well-organized. We had two phone meetings to meet with Conrad before the big day. Even before the wedding, Conrad was so sweet and eager to shoot our Medieval wedding. His own excitement made me look forward to the wedding even more, since he genuinely wanted to be apart of it. He is so talented! We both agreed that Keren was the best value- $3500 for 8 hours of coverage with a second photographer, a one hour engagement session, copies of all the high resolution images with printing rights, and a 10x10 heirloom album. Additionally, she made us feel very comfortable, was incredibly thoughtful, and we loved her work. When we first met with her, she was incredibly professional- she had a personalized bridal box us with different pamphlets detailing her prices, as well as tips for good engagement pictures and a list of her recommended vendors. Keren goes above and beyond to care for her brides and even has a private facebook group for her bridal clients so we can source suggestions and advice from each other. After we booked her for the wedding, she sent us a small token of appreciation, which I thought was so sweet! At both the engagement session and the day of the wedding, Keren was very organized and gave good directions on how to pose without being overbearing or demanding. This was particularly useful when we took several formal family portraits with over 20 people. She was patient and creative, and open to shooting a few favorite poses I had found on Pinterest. Throughout the ceremony and reception, she and her second shooter were both respectful and unobtrusive. I think the only time I noticed them was during the first dance, yet they managed to capture everything!! It was really nice to be entirely focused on the moment and not distracted by anything else, even when the entire moment is captured on film. One thing that impressed me most about Keren is how detail oriented she is. Prior to the wedding day, she had us fill out a comprehensive 4 page questionnaire that helped me to think through the whole schedule and logistics, as well as confirm all shots we wanted (and family members to be in each shot). She coordinated with the DJ to make sure everything like the first dance and garter toss happened on time and that they didn't miss anything. Keren's second shooter is usually a woman named Erica, who also happens to be one of her close friends. Between the two of them there is a natural chemistry and flow to their process that helped the entire day go smoothly. They were adept at dividing and conquering, while also capturing moments from both perspectives. They were both a pleasure to work with and I was so happy we chose KSP!

I met Doug nine years ago when he did my sister's wedding. Doug, my fiancé, and I first met up to do the engagement pictures in Chicago. Doug was open and flexible about meeting times and locations, and while I had a few ideas of where I wanted to do shots, Doug offered up his expertise, and the combination of locations made for beautiful engagement pictures. On that day Doug spent over three hours with us, talking, catching up, laughing and making sure we got all of the pictures we would want. Our wedding day with Doug was even better. Leading up to the big day, Doug was easy going when schedules had to change.Throughout the day Doug made me feel at ease, and the pictures truly show that. In the bridal room he made sure to capture all the small details: the hanger with my new last name, the bride to be sign on the bed, the veil draped over the door, the intricate lace on my dress...everything. When we headed over to the ceremony Doug did a great job coordinating the formal shots with a large wedding party, large families (46 people!), not a lot of time, and sweltering heat. He even sat with the bridal party in a stifling room before the ceremony and still managed to capture moments of laughter and nervousness as the celebration was about to begin. In addition to all that he even had a bridal kit with him in case of emergencies, such a professional! Throughout the ceremony and reception though, Doug did what I love most about his style of photography. He captured people as they really were on that day. He spent the day finding people smiling, laughing, crying, talking, dancing and enjoying the celebration.
