We love Michelle--she is hands down one of the most loving, attentive, and nurturing teachers we've ever met. From day one, she treated our son like her own, always on the floor with the kids playing, reading books, doing puzzles, or simply letting him sit in her lap. It meant everything to know he was so genuinely cared for during such an important stage of his life. Kristin runs an incredibly well-organized program and is an excellent communicator. We always knew our son's schedule, and we really appreciated how thoughtfully it was adjusted as he grew throughout his first year. The consistency, flexibility, and attention to detail made us feel completely at ease as parents. We also loved how much time the kids spent outdoors--daily fresh air, play, and exploration were clearly a priority and something our son thrived with. On top of that, the arts and crafts projects are amazing--creative, developmentally appropriate, and such sweet keepsakes. We are so grateful for this school and the incredible teachers who make it feel like a second home.

The spaces are clean and inviting, and our little one loves going to school each morning. The teaching philosophy is exactly what we had been looking for - objective observations are verbalized, and she is encouraged to explore through hands-on activities. And the art projects are plentiful and adorable! We've really felt part of a community during our time at Footsteps - between Halloween parties, Easter egg hunts, petting zoos, block parties, and celebrations of the students and staff, there's always something happening! Big brother often comes for pickup, and it can be hard to convince them to stop playing in the yard to go home! We feel grateful to have had our little one at Footsteps these past 2 years.

I could go on and on! As full-time working parents, it's hard not being with our kids all day to teach them everything we'd love to, but Mariza and her team feel like co-parents in the best way possible. They keep us informed about how our children are doing, and they always handle drop-offs with such care, especially when our little ones get clingy. Mariza and her staff are warm, engaging, and truly invested in the kids. They fill the days with fun activities, play a variety of great music, and even cook homemade breakfast and lunch every single day--something you just don't find in many daycare settings. Now, our youngest is experiencing the same incredible care, and we feel so lucky to have found a place that truly feels like an extension of our family. Our daughters have gained confidence, curiosity, and strong social skills, and we have complete peace of mind knowing they're in such capable and loving hands. Readiness Family Daycare isn't just childcare--it's a home away from home. We are beyond grateful for the positive impact Mariza and her team have had on our family. Thank you, Mariza!

As a first time mom, I was very nervous about everything but Mariza lead me a way. They have warm breakfast and lunch everyday and they feed the kids snacks and fruit which was super helpful to a working mom. My son was a picky eater but he ate everything she provided. There is a wonderful outdoor space where the kids can play which was really nice so they get to breath some air safely. The daycare has a loving environment with very nice staff Lucia, Lulu and Ms. Cathy. When my son turned 3, i started looking for a preschool just because I thought that what everyone does-Graduate from a daycare and move on to preschools. I did some research and the preschools cost way more than here but the curriculums were the same. I was extremely happy to stay at Mariza's where my kids learned alphabet and numbers through fun projects. Also they did projects everyday and it was fun for me to see their progress. I am glad I chose this daycare where I could trust. I highly recommend this daycare!

I was on ft w. him one day & she came in to make him do something , he puts the phone down & somehow the facetime ended but was working fine when she wasn't in the room. She wanted me to have to contact HER anytime i wanted to speak / hear from my 9 year old. ( If there was something going on what kid is going to feel comfortable saying it i infront of the adults ) i mentioned the contract stating kids may bring electronics & she said "a phone isn't an electronic it's a phone" so i asked ok why can't he bring his phone because that goes against the contract she said "oh we just don't do phones here" if you want make your rules up as you go along & tell kids / parents phone aren't allowed & contact HAS to go through you then you need to contact me EVERYTIME my son says to contact me ! Example , my son asked if they can ask me if i can bring him some food , i didn't hear anything about it until my son came home hungry asking why i didn't bring him food . she doesn't let you INSIDE THE FACILITY , & still uses covid as an excuse have to take a covid test even infants every week sometimes late picking the children up from Highland . violates her own contract but when asked about certain things her response is always "refer to the contract" when majority of the time she doesn't even abide by HER contract takes off EVERY holiday ( federal , state , city holidays ) & a couple WEEKS off for vacay & any other day she feels for ex ( was closed 2 days for LABOR DAY 7/1/23 & 7/4/23 , closed 11.10 (FRIDAY) for VERTERANS DAY even though veterans day is on the 11th , a SATURDAY , closed 11/22-11/24 3 days for Thanksgiving when single parents like myself still have to work so i was ALWAYS needing to find a plan be for daycare ( will attach photos ) "recommended" we bring the bigger kids lunch during the summer so she didn't have to feed them 9 year old son hadn't been there (because he doesn't like being there ) in over a month & she was still requesting payment claims she's a 24-hour facility on paper but doesn't do evenings or weekends(will attach photos of texts) and claims "no availability" as an excuse. If your not available hire some help that is because you ARE A 24-hour daycare ! contract states school aged children who receive before school care (pick up and drop off) would have breakfast & my son has yet to get breakfast before she drops him off to school . Most daycare are 6a - 6p , but at 5:31 she'll text "your kids are still here" (will attach photos) & charging late fee's when how am i late if you're 24/7 ?

They cared for him so well and I knew it was a good place for him to explore and learn about nature. There is a beautiful yard with a playground, soccer field and other structures for children also they can play with sands. I even saw how to plants and watering and many more things.. when I'd see the excitement in his eyes when we'd pull up to the house. he was saying new words constantly and telling us what he had done during the day and he was very eager to go there again. ! During covid, Nicole is very helpful and honest about she was navigating caring for our kiddos while maintaining a safe place for everyone. I appreciate how upfront Nicole is, and she is very easy to talk to. Their prices are definitely is worth it, we knowing our son is getting quality care. In addition to the care, I would also highlight the space! They have a HUGE backyard. It's perfect for the kiddos to run and play. I know our little one enjoyed that a ton. I would highly recommend Nicole and her team to care for your kiddos! Thank you for being so amazing.
