Te procedure when someone does report you to the special female unit is stealthily and swift, you have almost no time to think and less to decide what to do. A state-appointed lawyer is provided if you do not have one, and I was unlucky to land on one who had no clue about how to handle this situation. All in all, if you do not get your act together in the first 24hs of this draconian process, you are in for a court case which is what happened to me, with serious charges laid down. Desperate for real help I landed on Marco. From the word go he was extremely helpful and clear over the phone, not at all schmoozing me with what I wanted to hear, but giving me an accurate and clear assessment of my situation and my chances of successfully repelling this spurious accusation. While other lawyers would mumble as little words as possible and try to co-opt me into getting to their office and signing them for the job, Marco was interested in me first and not the gig. He was very clear about his fees and knows he is not the cheapest around, but he is well worth every dollar you spend on him. I ended up hiring Marco as a consultant. His advise was truly and duly spot on, he would talk to me like an equal and not a child. He was always willing to answer my numerous questions by either whatsapp, mail or phone. Marco suggested a female lawyer to appear in court. He followed up on the case as a consultant, and clearly warned me that my strategy for defense was wrong and I was able to change it just in time. All in all and not to bore you with excess detail, if you are into any sort of legal problem in Barcelona that involves penal Law, Marco is the person to call. Do not waste your time with anyone else. I did and I was screwed by a lawyer recommended by a friend - see my other review - until Marco came along and saved my bacon. I also find him personable, not so other lawyers I contacted during my ordeal. 100% recommended. For if you wanna know what happened with my court case, I was declared not guilty, for things that I did not do anyway, but here in Spain you oughtta stamp in your forehead to never cross a woman, since they have an incredible array of weaponry to use against you thanks to the horrible gender laws prevalent here, and you will be doomed - do your own research. If you are ever stuck in Spain call Marco, you won't regret it. Thanks Marco!

Also, the legal requirements by the country is in constant review so expect to be asked to provided proof of documents. Also, the office has a lot of clients that they also have to tend to. The key is to be patient and keep track of all the documents that you've submitted and also do your due diligence to research and ask questions if you're not clear. The attorney has but so much control over what they can do.
