Captain Tony and Dive Master Cody of Double Action were great too! Lynn and I highly recommend diving Chicago with Hart City.

I purchased a used one, a 22 ft. 2001 Bennington and I got it at D and R Sports and they set me up ! in the future I know I will not buy anything of the sort for my Pontoon boat at the Edge! I recommend D and R Sports, overall best customer service by far.

I've been using The Edge for many years to service my Malibu ski boat as well as my Bennington…read morepontoon boat. They do consistently good work and have my boat back to me quickly. That's fairly crucial with our short summer season. There are a variety of accessories available for ski, I/O, or pontoon boats. They also sell everything form skateboards to wakeboards and the sales reps have a solid knowledge of not only the products but which is best suited to individual riding style. I'd recommend giving a bit more time in the fall to schedule service for winterizing and storage. They get slammed with boats and the storage space can run out quickly. They're a former Malibu dealer and now carry MB boats which I've heard are a higher quality product at a better price. They also have Cyprus Cay Pontoon boats. I can't tell you much about those other than they've won some awards and appear to be a nice ride. One thing I'd recommend to buy from this dealer are water tramps and tubes. I've found lower quality tubes can structurally fail after only a few weeks and the higher quality ones sold here have lasted for several seasons. Best deals on these are in the fall if you can wait. Great bunch of guys working here. I highly recommend this business.

Colon Bait and Tackle, thankfully, has not changed much. I have been to plenty of bait shops and sporting good stores. I worked at one for years when I was younger. Colon Bait and Tackle is a business that has held true to itself. They do not sell toys, or food, or trendy gadgets that are not related to their product line. The owner was terrific! She is not warm and snuggly to everyone, but was just great with my son. She was professional. It is a fishing store, not a place to go and have your hair and nails done. When we returned a few days later, she remembered him right away and asked how he did fishing? She showed him enthusiasm when he spoke of the big old bass we caught. He was proud to have filleted it using the knife we purchased at her store. She knows her product, and how to catch fish. She knows the surrounding lakes and waterways as well. Perhaps the previous reviewer got what he gave? I found items to be well-priced and competitive with Wall-Mart and the likes; however, her selection was much better! I purchased every pack of my favorite bobber-stoppers she had. I cannot find the same type anywhere else. I appreciated her expertise and small town specialty store. Go visit and have a "magical" productive fishing experience.
