I saw Dr. Briggs for several years and he never suggested anything was wrong with the health of my…read moreteeth. When he retired, a new young man took over and I was repeatedly pressured to get 8-9 crowns on my teeth when I was having no pain. The total for those services for $9,000 and that is with dental insurance. Every visit I went to that required him to check my teeth, he was like a pushy salesman using scare tactics to try and get me to get $9,000 worth of crowns done. I repeatedly told him that it was not in my budget and I did not feel a discomfort to warrant such procedures. I continually asked if there was a different treatment that could be done and was told no until my last visit when I found out they would no longer be taking any dental insurance except Delta Dental. I asked for them to price the treatment because you must pay at the time of service, and it is also stated on a plaque in the waiting room. We decided to do white fillings to help stop any further break down of my back teeth, with a total cost with my insurance of $200. I went ahead and got the treatment that day and paid in full what they said my insurance would cover. Several months later I got a random bill from Brick City Dental for $225. I had no idea what for because I had paid for my treatment at the time of service. Brick City Dental contacted me unprofessionally via text about this payment, then phone. I explained I paid what they told me my insurance company required and didn't know why the service was now doubled. I do not feel they initially coded my insurance benefits correctly to find the amount of my out of pocket cost would be. I feel this was their mistake that cost me double the original treatment fee. I would not recommend Brick City Dental with their current provider because he is very pushy using scare tactics about very expensive and unnecessary treatments.

I originally went here for my wisdom teeth to get looked at. The younger blonde doctor looked at my…read moreteeth and told me that they could be removed with an actual surgeon. He then suggested that it would be a good idea for him to remove 3 of my back molars so that he could get to the wisdom tooth without sending me to a surgeon. He said that the molars had cavities so it would be fine to remove them anyways (as if I couldn't get them filled?). I decided not to go back because suggesting to pull out my back molars that are in fine shape is absolutely crazy. Mind you, I'm rather young and will need my back molars as I age. I then get a crazy expensive bill in the mail, although I had absolutely no work done with him. When I disputed the bill so that it wouldn't go on my credit and since it was inaccurate, I then received a letter from them stating that I "was never allowed back to their office for services". They seem very money hungry in my opinion. They never even touched my teeth and tried to bill me. I've heard multiple stories from people in the Mexico area, stating that he has lied to them about the severity of their cavities and when they seek further medical advice they find out that their teeth are in great condition. I've never heard as many bad reviews from a medical doctor as I have for him. Would not suggest them at all. They will lie to you and suggest UNNECESSARY procedures for you teeth so that they can take your money.
