After talking to Eileen and Donna they made me feel more at ease and assured me I was in good hands with Dr Nary. Dr Nary kept me informed during the procedure at all times and if he sensed I was in discomfort he would ask and made sure I DID NOT feel any pain. He did a wonderful job! Several months now after having the work done and the crown and the affected area is doing great. I would recommend FDH of Villa any time. Dr Nary and the ladies there are great.

Later, the insurance /billing manager informed me that she had made a mistake and that they were not in network with my insurance company. My dental cleanings should have been at zero dollars out-of-pocket. Lena asked me if I would be willing to pay 50% and said she would refund 50% of my previous payment. Each time I've called over the last four months asking about the refund check, Lena has an excuse why it has not been mailed. I now feel that I was lied to and that the practice is never going to provide the 50% refund that Lena negotiated with me. As I understand, the reason that she made the initial mistake is that she didn't know that insurance coverage is based on the name of the dentist, not the name or address of the practice. (I didn't know this either and relied on the dental practice's advice). That aside, they provide excellent dental care and cleaning -- both the dentists and hygienists I have seen are excellent. On my initial visit, my teeth were cleaned and Dr Childs performed an exam with XRays. I was told everything was fine and that I needed a biteguard. So she scheduled me for a fitting. I was left in a room almost an hour after the receptionist seated me in the dental chair. Dr Childs evidently had no idea of my appt and never came in to apologize or even talk. Later, I found out I needed several crown replacments, periodontal work, etc. Draw your own conclusions.

He discussed options and made me feel like I was part of the process and I had the last word. He talked to me through out the process so that I knew what to expect, and checked that I was alright. He was a perfectionist on making sure it was done correctly. I NEVER WANT TO DO THIS AGAIN. But if I have to I will have Dr Burleson do the Job!!

BTW his staff was excellent as well. They knew this bundle of fear was arriving and they cared enough to usher me into the chair quickly and calmly. Dr Jill and the staff at Dentistry at Pelham were compassionate and professional. They took time with me. They replaced all visible teeth in my mouth. The treatment was spelled out clearly.
