Of course, we're also looking for on going legal advice on different issues and Internet law seems to be Richard's forte. Right from the start Richard was very responsive. I received a quick reply to the request for a consultation and he was also courteous and flexible about the time. We had to reschedule the meeting a couple of times as Richard was pulled away supporting existing clients, but once we did meet I felt that Richard gave me his full attention and was very interested in providing the best solution for us. Considering this was a free consultation, I felt like we got some good solid advice on copyrighting, Internet legislation etc. I would rate Richard higher if it weren't for a difference of opinions on S/C Corps vs. LLCs. We favor an LLC as a very light weight way of getting started and Richard recommended more of an S or C Corp route based on the information I gave him about our likelihood of going public. Ultimately, during our discussion we were not able to rule out an LLC as a viable option, which I was hoping to do. The consultation was free though, and in order to get targeted advice and specific reasons for a selection we'd really need to pay for some of his time researching the topic. Richard obviously has an ongoing interest in Internet technology and companies, and can converse fluently about different players. His free consultation greatly helped us move forward toward making a decision and helped me see exactly which areas of law I needed to look into further. I would recommend checking in with him if you're incorporating a new web site.

It is very time-sensitive as I missed the date due to aortic aneurysm and then another emergency surgery. I had no money so my friend scrape together what I needed and Glenn took the money and never did the work. I don't have money to eat let alone give it to them. I am so sad about their treatment to me I tried so hard to raise that money. I contacted the San Diego district attorney and also the Bar Association. Stay away from this company.

Never called back after three calls to reestablish the situation for failed application delivery. Unprofessional, lawyer was not able to understand the design of the invention even after two individual physical model presentations and continuous email communication. The worst part was that lawyer never even did an attempt to understand, were careless and indifferent. Very late in delivery, instead of promised 4-12 weeks after 24 weeks we still have not properly prepared first draft and moreover not even filed with USPTO. Do not pay attention to the files that has been sent to the lawyer to be used in drawings several times. I've got no patent application and they declined for refund of initial deposit that has been paid to them. In June we met to discuss for patentability of my invention. I expressed my intention to meet and discuss with a single lawyer who will be handling my patent application from beginning till the end to prevent loss of data or miscommunication. They assign Glenn Von Tersch to be a processing lawyer who was the party on Engagement letter (that still left not signed by him). Once I signed engagement letter MU Patents reassigned the lawyer to Stanton Braden who further took over the application process. Along with the engagement letter I sent the updated drawings to be used in the patent application and asked them to get in touch to collaborate the patent application. According to our agreement law firm supposed to prepare and present their application within 4-12 weeks. During first 2 months I've heard nothing from them like he perfectly knew my invention from A to Z even though he never seen my physical prototype presentation shown to the previous lawyer. I bugged them again and they have sent my first draft prepared by Stanton Braden with wrong outdated drawing files, wrong information instead of those that I've sent to them earlier. I asked again to use new files that has been sent to him couple times already. In two weeks I got updated draft with the same old outdated information. Four or five times I've been asking to stop using old drawings but the Mr. Braden wouldn't just hear me at all. He also made a wrong assumption and used wrong mechanic principle of the assembly. I also mentioned few times of such a mistaken assumption but Mr. Braden still didn't make an attempt to contact to figure our why I was keep asking to look at my drawings and change the mechanic principle he used in his own drawings. As a result of a such miscommunication draft hasn't been delivered on time. Now 24 weeks later I have no properly prepared application and moreover being even filed with USPTO. After multiple attempts to get a proper draft I decided to contact leading lawyer of MU Patents Glenn Von Tersch who represented the law firm and signed the engagement letter. Three calls left not returned. Then I understood it will not going to happen and decided to stop further application process by the law firm. I asked for the refund since they couldn't upkeep their promise to deliver the patent application within 12 weeks but they clearly expressed won't be able to do that.
