Whether I am buying or selling I can always count on his sound advice and straight shooting style. It is important especially as a seller in these times to have a solid plan of action. Mr. Clegg acts swiftly to market changes and separates himself from many of his colleagues with an "out of the box" thinking style that has successfully helped me to get the most out of my investments. The key to any long term business relationship is trust and that is where Robert truly excels. I can say without hesitation that Robert has earned my respect and confidence for the honesty he brings to the industry. He offers no excuses, just educated opinions based on solid market information that forecasts trends, instead of chasing them. I have found his insight invaluable whether buying or selling and look forward to working with him again and again in the future. Lastly, if you want a realtor that delivers great results, responds timely to your concerns and values integrity above his own bottom line, then look no further and just give Bob a call. You're on your way to real estate satisfaction!!!

When you are selling your house you want someone "SELLING" your house. Jockeying phones, pressing…read morethe flesh...a salesman! A hunter, not a fisherman. Someone that does more than just unlocking the door and letting the prospective buyer roam free. I did not find that here. What I did find was an agent who was out of touch with the power of the Internet. A guy who acted like he owed me money every time I'd call him up. A guy who didn't think it was worth telling me that he was also going to be trying to sell his own home 200 yds from mine. A salesman that has lost that A.B.C. attitude (Always Be Closing, for those who are not Glengarry, Glenn Ross fans) and with the exception of telling me I should paint the trim of my house (something I was doing anyway) his main selling point was asking me to drop the asking price $20k below it's market value. I know these are tough times, but this began well before the bottom fell out and when I found he had posted his home on Craigslist and not mine or any other of his clients I knew his attentions were focused else where. I know it's just CL, but when I want someone to sell my house, I want them to sell "MY" house....

Mike came in with a professional photographer and made the house POP! in the pictures. He asked us for input on our listing and he published it on several major listing sites. He had a newborn baby at home, and none-the-less, was always responsive and available when we needed him. I think what really made him unique is his connections. I'm sure all realtors have them, but everybody that Daniel connected us with, from the inspector to the mortgage brokers and etc., were friendly, courteous, helpful, professional, and thorough. There was never a moment in this process where we felt like we were wasting anybody's time by asking dumb first-time home buyer questions, and everyone was incredibly patient with us. I thought that's what really made this process smooth and above-and-beyond: everybody that Daniel connected us with maintained his high standards of service, so it felt like one smooth process rather than a dozen tiny battles with different people. It was great working with Daniel, and I really can't think of a single thing that would make me want to work with another realtor.

Christopher Somers allegedly banned me from a neighborhood Facebook group that he is an…read moreadministrator of after I raised concerns about a neighboring pizzeria that, according to city records, appears to have been operating without the required food preparation license and a streetery/sidewalk café license, with seating that's been taking up 3-4 parking spots. And instead of holding the Fishtown BID accountable for not cleaning up their trash (which a business is entitled to do themselves if they have a legal streetery, which this is not because a valid food license is a prerequisite for one), he invited me to a neighborhood cleanup instead. Yes, that's right, he asked me to clean up after a business trashing our neighborhood and charging $42 for pies. This raises a pretty basic question about his judgment and integrity. Why would he silence someone for raising legitimate questions about whether a local business is following the same licensing rules everyone else is expected to follow? These licenses cost money and exist for a reason. If a business is operating without them while other businesses comply, that deserves scrutiny, not censorship. And if Christopher or his team at Keller Williams disagrees with the concept of businesses being required to operate with a license to serve food, they're welcome to explain why. The first thing I'd ask myself if I was looking for a realtor is if they'd give me any reason to suspect they would take shortcuts with paperwork and legal issues. Is this really who you want to trust to find your next dream home for you?

Sale didn't close and he didn't follow through on anything the way he should have. Because the buying agent was within his firm everything was half-assed. Paperwork was late or missing. He didn't even follow up with agents from outside his firm that had interested clients. Cherry on top: He promised to reimburse me for a home inspection for the property I had under contract if our sale fell through. After the sale fell through, only offered to reimburse me if I listed with him again. Shady AF. Used a different agent and sold the property, and it was a night and day difference in terms of communication and follow through. That agent closed the deal and kept me up to date with any pertinent info. ALL paperwork was on time and completed and no excuses were ever made. He managed my expectations, but also reassured me in a cautious way when it was appropriate. Conclusion: use someone else who has the time to do a good job.
