Horrible Horrible Service all around, here's why:
1. Almost always backed up, and on more than one occasion - reached the facility only to be turned away at the last minute due to an emergency baby delivery or complicated birthing session - the delivery issues I understand, but the lack of so much as a phone call informing me before taking a 20 min bus ride out there? Unacceptable.
2. Rushed service: Dr. Chun seems more concerned with seeing as many patients in the smallest amount of time, as a result things get missed. Case and point: I've been there 3 examinations, and each time she rushed through the examination, not even taking the time to know of any health concerns or questions that i may have (you know, like normal doctor's do.) HERE'S WHAT SHE MISSED as a result: If she had bothered to follow up on my complaint of a lot of PMS pain, she'd have investigated. After getting fed up and leaving for another doctor, imagine my surprise to find out that I have Fibroids - and I didn't even have to mention the painful PMS because I was so used to "take motrin" answers that i just put it on the back burner. My new doctor, Dr. Karen Gregory did a thorough examination and felt something abnormal - called me back for an ultrasound and Voila! Culprit found!
3. Dr. Chun's bedside manner leaves a heck of a whole lot to be desired. I don't know about others, but annual exams aren't really my thing but I do it because i have to - now this is the first Dr. I have been to that made it seem as though she didn't want to touch me during an exam; I had been to her twice before and each time i figured "hey, maybe it's just an off day - maybe it'll be better next time" - yeah, each subsequent experience was worse than the last. I mean I already feel bad enough laying there exposed, a little empathy shouldn't be much to ask for.
Anyway, I'll stop now as I've already written a whole book - bottom line: Save yourself the bad experience, go somewhere else, anywhere else, just not her. read more
