I recently tried to schedule my annual appointment, only to discover the news. I have never been so sad to lose a doctor. Dr. Yu was the first doctor I truly felt comfortable with, and her compassionate nature made all the difference in my care. She is an exceptional listener and has guided me through various life moments with expertise and kindness. I also want to express my heartfelt appreciation for Rhonda, who has always been incredibly kind, supportive, and patient with me. I will sincerely miss both of them and wish them nothing but the best. TLDR - Dr. Yu great! She is an exceptional doctor who made me feel comfortable and supported for over 11 years. She's a fantastic listener who guided me through life's ups and downs with care.

Simply, I cannot express how grateful I am for her care, she truly saved both my life and my daughter's life. I unfortunately had a serious complication where my placenta ruptured, and in that critical moment, Dr. You made the quick and life-saving decision to perform an emergency C-section on me. I can't even imagine the outcome if it weren't for her fast thinking and incredible professionalism. She got my daughter and me through that moment safely and I will forever be thankful. Even after the delivery, when my daughter sadly had to stay in the NICU for two weeks, Yu continuously checked in on us and offered her emotional support. As a first time mom, I was so naive but she guided me through every step with such kindness and patience. She didn't just care for me physically, but emotionally as well. I feel incredibly lucky to have had Dr. Yu by my side during such a vulnerable time. Her dedication, compassion, and genuine care are things I will never ever forget.

Specifically I've seen Natalia Oviedo-Rojas, Jessica Dyatlov, and Alexis Reiger who are all absolutely fantastic. I have a tendency to get nervous with injections and cervical exams and they are the best with walking me through each appointment and making me feel comfortable and at ease. You definitely have to schedule appointments pretty far in advance, though this doesn't feel abnormal for a doctor's office. I feel very cared for at Golden Gate Obstetrics and will continue coming back!

The facility has a lab attached to it so it's very convenient! Not only am I able to do my annual wellness there, but I can complete my bloodwork in the same appointment too. This office does have very strict scheduling guidelines though; you need to give them a deposit of $300 before you come for your first appointment and there's a $100 no show fee from then on out. Still, I think this office is worth the hassle. It's so hard to find a great doctor and office staff who prioritize patient needs. I'm very pleased with my experience and will continue coming back!

I've just seen Dr. Orady once and already couldn't recommend her more. It's pretty wild how much of a difference seeing the right provider can make. I've been struggling with period problems for the last 4-5 years and have seen at least 3 OBGYNs who have done all the ultrasounds and MRIs and have "found nothing wrong." Within seconds of looking at previous MRI results (which were declared "normal," I will add) and doing an ultrasound, Dr. Orady identified exactly what is wrong. She's truly a pro at the top of her field. I finally feel heard and validated. I wish every woman could have this level of care! I will get surgery with her in a few months. What's more is that Dr. Orady is so kind, down to earth, and empathetic. She clearly loves what she does and cares about her patients. Her team members are also so sweet. Her office has zen spa vibes. Overall I had a great experience and am so so grateful to have found Dr. Orady.

I went to Dr. Orady after reading so many good reviews from other women with endometriosis, but my…read moreexperience was very different. During my two transvaginal ultrasounds, she didn't tell me what she was doing, and she wasn't gentle. It was extremely painful, and even though she could see and hear that I was hurting, she didn't slow down or check in. Her bedside manner was nonexistent. She also removed a uterine polyp, and while she was doing it she was laughing and chatting with the nurse, asking if she was happy with the amount she'd removed or if she should take a bit more, almost like it was a game. All while she had a blade in her hand, inside me. Afterward, nobody cleaned up. When I sat up, I could see the metal container full of blood and gauze right below me. The way it was set up, I couldn't get off the bed, and my husband had to go find a nurse to take it away. She prescribed 2.5 mg of progestin for my endometriosis symptoms and told me there was no way I could get pregnant on it, so I could rely on it as birth control. My current OBGYN later told me that progestin hasn't been studied or approved for contraception, and that there's a theoretical risk to fetal development if I were to get pregnant on it. That's a pretty serious thing to get wrong. Her office also doesn't protect patient privacy. Someone on her staff sent out an email to patients without hiding the recipients, so I could see every other patient's name and email address. That's a basic privacy mistake for a medical office. Overall, there was zero sensitivity, tact, or regard for the patient in front of her, many of whom have already spent years being dismissed while dealing with undiagnosed endometriosis. Since then I've switched to a new OBGYN who is gentle, explains everything she's doing and what I should expect to feel, listens to my questions and concerns, and follows up. That's what care should look like, honestly.
