I explained that I had arrived in the allotted time frame, was walking in at the moment, and that I had called them beforehand to confirm I could be seen while sick. I let them know I had been sick since the day before, and they placed blame on me for not calling over the weekend to let them know that I was sick. I was then told I would have to pay the cancellation fee, because I didn't cancel within 24 hrs. I got a hold of billing, and after much difficulty, I finally received a full refund and an offer to reschedule 6 months out.

Crazy to hear that you should've been getting your heart checked every visit and not have received a single one ever. In addition, my experience with the nurse who drew my blood was very negative. She was rude and did not appear confident or skilled in performing the blood draw. This created unnecessary stress, delayed my care, and forced me to repeat labs that should have been done correctly the first time. Overall, I left feeling that the clinic is far more focused on collecting payment than on providing quality patient care. It is honestly concerning that they are able to treat patients privately without insurance given the level of service I experienced.
