Every stylist is friendly and they listen to your concerns and expectations. Personally, I'm biased to Lindsay. I've been going to her since 2008 and I currently live out of state and I still see her when I'm in town. She takes care of her clients to the absolute maximum. No matter how crazy your requests for your hair are, as long as you truly want it she will give it to you. And if you get a lip wax from her, you can be sure she'll get every single tiny hair off. Highly highly recommended.

No matter my request- I know there's someone who can meet my needs. Kelly has done countless color corrections for me, and Sydney enhances my natural blonde. Have been loving this natural ginger color that Alex achieves!!! Ellie did my lash extensions for a long time and I always got tons of compliments. Now I see Kailee for a lash lift/tint and am so satisfied with the results!!! Anna has given me henna-freckles and they look very natural and fun!!! I see Dr. Melton for laser hair removal, and am so thrilled with the results I've seen over the past few months. She makes the entire procedure very comfortable! Kim does my facials, and has saved my skin so many times. Her expertise has helped me in so many ways.

I am always mixing it up on her & she's always very accommodating. Today I got a pedicure & a fill. L2 offers different tiers of pedicures which is nice when you want a little more extra self care time or just keep it simple. They also offer gel, acrylic & dip which is really nice to have the option. The best thing about this place is that they're open on Sundays pretty late & usually you cannot find a nail place open on Sundays. I love how clean it is & it's very open & I love all of the plants she has inside. I definitely recommend L2 in Crystal City by the drivers license office!

Services at Skin Tactics are by appointment only and you'll need to knock on the door when you arrive for your appointment. As a first time customer I filled out some paperwork upon arrival and then we got started. The atmosphere was relaxing and inviting with soothing music playing. The products being used felt wonderful and smelled fabulous. I especially enjoyed the warm mist on my face that felt so cozy. My skin feels smooth, soft and hydrated. I had never had a hot stone massage and was a little nervous about it as my skin can be sensitive to temperature. It was a great, relaxing experience! You feel the warmth of the stones moving in her hands on your skin and every so often she might work on an area a little longer and it feels hotter as the stones are in one place, but it was never uncomfortable. For this massage you are face down the whole time with a primary focus on back and legs. Shoulders and arms were worked briefly as well. You can specify if there are any trouble areas you want her to focus on. I walked away relaxed and satisfied with my first experience at Skin Tactics on Main Street in Festus, MO. Pro Tip: Check Groupon for promotions as sales for services are often featured there.

Ok, let me start off by saying that I REALLY wanted to like this place. I moved to JeffCo almost 2…read moreyears ago & have been searching for a new nail salon ever since, but haven't been happy. I read the reviews on this place & even my tech & all seemed great, so I was hopeful. I really liked my nail tech, Cindy, as far as a person. She was incredibly friendly & kind, she talked to me & she spoke perfect english (not saying anything negative on anyone that doesn't, but lets be real, a language barrier can certainly cause issues when trying to explain exactly what you want or understand what they're response is). I didn't ask for anything crazy at all...I got dip w/ tips & had a solid dip color, no designs, no chrome, nothing fancy. I've had dip powder done at other places many times before & I've NEVER had anyone use the technique that Cindy used. What she did caused major thick bumps which crumbled under the drill making her have to "touch up" the dip powder multiple times & leaving the overall texture of the nails very lumpy/bumpy (even after I asked her to even them out). The dip powder looked so bad that she even had to put a layer of the matching gel polish over the dip. The top of the nail isn't blended into my cuticle at all. There was product left all over my skin once finished. She handed me a "clean" brush to use to go wash my hands w/ & I was horrified when I was using the brush & saw brown stuff running from the brush into the water indicating that the brush wasn't only dirty, but straight up nasty. Honestly, I was so horrified by how bad my nails looked & the amount of time it was taking that I lost faith in her ability to fix them & I just wanted to get out of there. I am not one to leave bad reviews typically, but this was such a huge disappointment & quite honestly, I left mad that I had just spent money for this garbage & didn't really speak up to her (b/c again, it was so bad I didn't think she'd be able to fix it anyway, & I just wanted out of there). I'm not sure if I'm more upset about the horrible job on the nails or the fact that I was given a nasty brush to wash w/. Just...NO, NO, NO!!! Horrible! I definitely will not be returning to this facility. I'm really glad others seem to have a better experience w/ this place & tech, but unfortunately, that was not the case for me.
