Excellent spot for photos! Not to mention easy hiking trails. There's a new parking area to accommodate more hikers.

5 big stars for the Campanile Mall…read more Centrally located on campus at SDSU you'll find the Campanile Mall. It's a beautiful area with very nice, plush landscaping. They have a nice track that is open to the public. There is a really awesome koi pond with dozens of turtles resting around the pond. Koi and turtles love all kinds of scraps we throw away in the kitchen. If you're looking for a way to repurpose fruit seeds and skins, the koi pond is a great place to connect with nature and feed the koi. Great place to do a no shoes, no shirt nature walk and soak up some rays as well!!!!

When in the area, my furbaby and I enjoy a stroll along the main walkways and sometimes my pup takes us off the path and wonders into new areas to discover little alcoves one can sit, relax, gather one's thoughts and perhaps practice a little mindfulness...Zen! The sundial and the tower of bells are some points of interest to see and hear. Have been lucky to listen to the tower of bells sound out to the Sound of Music The areas are well maintained by the environmental cleaning staff and for the most times we've visited most people, students, and staff are nice. I've always visited early in the day and have found metered street parking closeby. Whether you want to place to practice a little mindfulness or just stroll along the paths, the Campanile Mall is a worthwhile place to visit.
