Dr Butan and his colleagues have a practical, less is more approach to care, relying on experience over often costly and unnecessary technology. Our beagle and corgi are both happy healthy adult dogs, but we are also confident that their care includes EVERY appropriate preventive measure. test and vaccine. When the greasy haired person finally came to talk to us she never introduced herself. Still dont know who she was, but definitely needed a bath. And cut us off mid sentence. This was truly the strangest place. Do NOT recommend taking your pet there. The business is stating they were dealing with an emergency.. however they were all hanging out just talking and not acknowledging us. I had called prior to coming in a week in advance and was never told to bring records. If you truly care during a consult, you let clients finish a full sentence. Strangest business we've ever experienced. And this was not for a second opinion, see you didn't even listen to that part either. If you really care for your pet....DONT go to this place.

This team is the epitome of kind, caring, and knowledgable - that does not even begin to do them all justice. We have 2 bulldogs, and despite the fact we take very good care of them, stuff happens. The team at ACoWLW has never let us down, whether it be routine visits or more urgent needs, we know we can always count on them! Dr Johnston and truly everyone there puts both the furry kids and parents alike at ease, taking a calm, sensible approach to treatment. When another Dr wanted to put our younger bulldog thru difficult surgery, Dr. Johnston offered not only an alternate, non-surgical plan, she had two separate backups if the 1st plan didn't work - which it did! Finding the right vet is so so important. We got incredibly lucky to have found ACoWLW

The doctor seemed nice but made it seem like the surgery wasn't necessary--but why did he do it then if it wasn't? He should've called and said he felt it wasn't necessary. I would never force a doctor to do an unnerve surgery. Then they bring the dog out (it's now 5:00) and he's completely drugged up and unable to properly walk. We used this vet because he did the original surgery before we adopted our dog. But our vet always does surgeries in the morning to monitor them all day so when they go home they capable of walking and safe. We also found out they didn't give him any pain meds or anything to help keep him calm post surgery from the emergency vet we had to bring him to after his cone came off in the middle of the night since they didn't secure it properly and he rubbed his eye. Very disappointed. I would not recommend this place and I regret bringing him back to do the surgery. ETA: the cherry came back! I read the surgery has a 92% success rate. This vet did the surgery TWICE and FAILED. Do not go to this vet. You will regret it.

Absolutely traumatic experience for us, as I am sure for our pet. As we had called the day before stating we would be picking up on April 1st- it defies logic the staff wouldn't at least bathe our pet before pickup. This borders on pet abuse and neglect. We are appalled and thoroughly disgusted. Never again- Do your family pet and member of your family, DO NOT BOARD THEM HERE.

From the very beginning, they made sure not only that Dirk was being cared for, but that I was supported as well during a very difficult time. Every interaction felt thoughtful and genuine. The staff took the time to answer questions, walk me through options, and ensure I felt informed and not alone in the decisions I had to make. What meant the most to me, though, was what happened after. I received (handwritten) signed condolence cards from their staff. That small but meaningful gesture spoke volumes about the kind of people they are. It showed that they truly care - not just about the pets they treat, but about the families who love them. Even though this was an incredibly hard experience, I'm grateful that Dirk and I were surrounded by people who treated us with such kindness and respect. Thank you for taking care of him, and for taking care of me.
