The moment I explained that I smelled dog urine in the carpet, he immediately dismissed me, repeatedly telling me he'd "been doing this for 30 years" instead of actually listening to what I was saying. The most disturbing part of the visit was that he eventually stopped speaking to me entirely and directed his attention only to the man who was with me. He even walked away from me in the middle of our conversation. I left feeling belittled, ignored and treated as though my opinion didn't matter. Based on the way he interacted with me, I found his behavior toward me as a woman deeply disrespectful. He also wore his outside shoes throughout my home, insisted the issue was candle residue despite there being no candle wax, and then left before completing the job. The carpet issue was never resolved. If your first instinct when a customer raises a concern is to dismiss them, talk over them, ignore them and walk away without finishing the work, you have no business providing customer service. We spoke on the phone and scheduled for my house cleaning which consisted of three rooms. They arrived on time for the appointment and came inside first to see how we were going to set up. This was the first time having my carpets professionally cleaned as I have a home cleaner that I usually clean them myself. Since their cleaning unit is out of their van, we needed to figure out the logistics since I'm on the 2nd floor of a condo building. (I did speak to Soledad about this over the phone in preparation.) We were able to hook up the water line to my water source near my washing machine. From arrival to finish was only about an hour! My carpets look great and smell good too! My hunting cat left us some nasty surprises on the carpet, and there was also a significant amount of rat poop which I was hesitant to clean myself because bleach would stain the carpet, and they took care of it all! See before/after photos for the stains they removed. The price was quite reasonable. One thing to note is that they did raise the price by about $50 compared to the initial quote when they arrived, which I found still to be very reasonable given the state of my carpet, but worth keeping in mind when you get an estimate. They also did not initially clean the area under a small couch, which other cleaners have cleaned in the past (it's quite a light couch, you can push it to the side easily). When I called about it though they came back right away the next day to get that area. Overall great service and value, just make sure to double check ahead of time if you need cleaning under furniture and keep in mind the quote is just an estimate!
