The restaurant itself has no obvious signage and is not visible from the main street. Once you are in front of the restaurant, you'd think (like I did) that it was a preschool or someone's house because it's just a wooden building with a tiny playhouse in front. You park in the one of seven spaces outside and walk into a very comfortably dining room with heaters on full. Tables in the middle of the room are small. Booths (fully separate by high partitions) along the walls are huge. I don't imagine this place ever getting busy so each visit, we've been able to grab a booth and eat in privacy. The menu is EXTENSIVE, with lunch being a truncated (but still generous) version of the dinner menu. Though this place specializes in pizza (very fresh ingredients, hand made dough), I was impressed by the ribeye steak which came from a young steer. The meat was flavorful and very tender. The color was deep and beautiful, something you'd pay $50+ for in America but here, you're looking at the teens. The overall quality of all the food we've had here (soup, salad, chicken, pizza, steak, potatoes, beer, bread, desserts) has been good every single time, and of all the places we've eaten at in the country, I will happily say that this tiny, nondescript restaurant in this tiny, nondescript town is on my "Must Eat" list when I land in the Czech Republic. The restaurant is nicely furnished and is a somewhat imposing two story building for Brno. The Asian Beef Salad (~$8) was a sparse bed of lettuce, with tender chunks of beef adorning the salad. The salad was a little heavily dressed in a sweet, sesame dressing. Lime was served on the side to help cut down on the sweetness. Two slices of bread were also served with the salad. The Creamy Mushroom Soup (~$3.50) was very rich and creamy. Pieces of mushroom were swimming throughout the bowl. The soup was nicely earthy, and contained something that I could not pinpoint but made the soup intriguing and enjoyable. The soup was strangely adorned with a few slices of beef carpaccio. The Beef Burger (~$9.75) was cooked to a nice medium. The thick patty was nice and juicy. The burger was topped with a slight, overly sweet teriyaki sauce, slices of avocado and a spicy mayo dressing. The interplay between the teriyaki sauce and miso dressing was a rather interesting mixture of flavors. The sweetness was subdued by the saltiness of the miso. The avocado also added another layer of richness. The fries were thickly cut, but could have been crisper. The Rib Eye (~$14.00) was cooked to a perfect medium rare. The steak had a nice beefy flavor. The steak was slightly under seasoned, but juicy. The steak came with a side of peppery arugula, and some gummy mashed potatoes. The Chocolate Cake was very rich and decadent. It came with marinated cherries, which were intensely flavored. The cherries did slightly overpower the chocolate, but it was still an enjoyable dessert. Although Forman is one of the more expensive restaurants in Brno, we had a very good meal and thought it was worth the cost.

Although a tad expensive, their steak fajitas and day and night cake are FANTASTIC. You could literally feed this to me for the rest of my life. I do have to add the service isn't amazing, maybe a 3/5 (depends on who's there that night), and I would recommend asking them to go slow on the salt for your steak.
