If I was rating this totally based on customer service it would be a zero if possible. The guy who answered the phone was just rude. Don't rely on what insurance company tells you. I specifically put the time frame I could make it and was given a 90 minute window. When the guy didn't show up on time I called. The guy just continued to repeat himself like I was a complete fool. For one if your guy is running late you need to contact customer and let him know. Two you apologize at least and provide an estimated time of arrival. Three your hire another person to answer the phone and follow one and two. The guy finally showed up. No apology for running late but whatever. The tow in itself took forever for the guy to get car on truck. Not sure if this was a new person or he was just being paid by the hour. Never seen it take so long to tow a car. Never again. I will pay out of pocket if my insurance company has no other options next time.just one thing to add the guy who towed my car knowing the alternator might be bad rolled down my window and couldn't get it back up. VW USA contracts with Steadfast and Edge towing for roadside service. They were contacted after a tire blowout to have the car towed to a nearby dealership. This was at 10:40pm, and contact was made at 11:oopm via text. About every 15 minutes, another text was sent saying they were on way. At midnight, the last text informed the driver that they would NOT be coming and to leave the keys in the unlocked car's center console. This left a teenage girl alone in a parking lot at midnight in a strange city. Contacted them again at 4:40pm the following day to pick the car. Was informed the tow truck would be there at 6:30pm. Around 7:30pm we were informed the driver needed to get a windshield wiper and the would be on the way. An hour later, still no tow truck. No contact until I contacted VW USA and complained again. By this time the dealership is closed, so no repairs can be made. Nearly 20 hours later, still no truck, but might be on the way. Had VW USA send a tow truck from another town, so we'll see who gets there first. This company is worthless and put a young girl in a scary situation. Their advice to leave the keys in the unlocked car is irresponsible. If your insurance or roadside assistance company uses this company, refuse and demand anyone else. Update: Edge/Steadfast contacted the driver and said they were 32 minutes away and enroute. 50 minutes later the second tow truck finally appear and took care of the car. 0 stars is more appropriate. Insurance company assigned pickup to be within 45 minutes. After a little over an hour I called to get update and was told "we don't do anything less than 90 min promises. I'll call you when I'm on my way" and then hung up. I couldn't get another word in. After 2.5 hours of still waiting, I called back and guess what? He claims he doesn't have any of my information and that no pickup was requested even though I have the message with the confirmation for pickup. Very rude on the phone, doesn't show up when called on, displaces blame when he must have forgot? Honestly doesn't deserve to be in business read more

I wish I could give no stars. We were waiting for over 2 1/2 hours and when our insurance company called to get an ETA the said they don't have the equipment to tow a Hyundai Sonata.... I was stuck on I-35 with a flat tire, trying to change my tire, a wonderful gentle men had stopped and asked if I needed help, he told me this is what he does for living and he is the most sweetest person I've ever met! I have to tell u guys this story. I was stranded on the inside of I-35 highway traffic in 5:00 pm traffic. I had a blow out from no where. Shredded my front left tire.I tried calling all kind of tow services and road side assistance. Everyone wanted a $100.00 dollars. I didn't have much cash on me but had credit card to swipe. He pulled over out of the kindness of his heart to help me. I was pinned up beside the inner wall and large trucks were scraping my vehicle flying by. I feared for my life and did not have tools to put my spare on because was driving my spare vehicle. He changed me out with in 10 minutes and was back on the road. Please give this gentleman your business. He was the kindest nicest gentleman and didn't ask for anything to help me. His service is extraordinary! He was definitely heaven sent out of nowhere to help me and I just want to say thank you so many times over! U will not be disappointed! Plus his service is a heck of a lot cheaper than $100.00!
