Instead of just telling me where the office was, one if the mechanics stopped & went to get the gentleman. Come to find out, it was the owner. He was 100% pure gentleman. He came out with an umbrella, yup one of our rare rain days. He walked me to my vehicle, asked me exactly what I needed. I explained all I needed was the inspection. He then walked me to the office to have a seat & wait. When he came back he informed me that the low tire light was on. He checked all the air in my tires, & filled the low one. The light is off. Mind you, I'd taken my vehicle to Firestone to fix my tires, & they failed. If I need any vehicle repairs - I'll come back here. Thank you for the kindness & superior service. The paint job didn't match whatsoever, very blotchy and overspray all over the place. Paint started to chip off 3 weeks after they had repainted the front bumper. I was gonna hire an attorney and sue them, but they're not worth my time. Alvaro the owner is a piece of shit. He told me that if I wanted tongo to court let's do it. I told him that i wanted him to pay for the repairs that were gonna have to be done at another shop(because his shop sucked) and he said he'd rather spend $5,000 hiring an attorney than to have to pay $2,000+- to make it right. If I can save one person the heartache, I'm happy.

First of all, 1996 F250's only have a cutout in the bumper for one lamp so weren't even built to support two. Secondly, Texas Department of Public Safety Section 20.18 SubSec. 2c specifically states "Only one lamp is required" to pass inspection. This was verified on the "What's Inspected" list for trucks from DPS as well. Though this shop gets high rating my first visit was not positive and probably won't go back. That's unfortunate because I had a few small items that needed fixed and thought I'd have them done here to support a local business.

While stationed in San Antonio, I had some Dinan upgrades done on my BMW 540M Sport, including intake, throttle body, headers, exhaust, and engine/transmission tuning. About a week later, my check engine light came on. I took the car to the local BMW dealership, where it sat for over a month without resolution, despite the fact that I had bought and serviced the car there. One of the techs at the dealership recommended Rhein West, calling them the best in town, if not the entire state of Texas. Initially, I was hesitant, as I typically avoid independent mechanics. However, after having the car towed to Rhein West, they spent just one day troubleshooting, contacting BMWNA, BMW in Europe, and Dinan Engineering in California. Within 24-36 hours, they had my car fully repaired for less than $600. From that point on, I exclusively brought my car to Rhein West until I eventually sold it. Their 2-year/24-month warranty gave me great peace of mind, and every service I received was spot on. If you own a BMW, I can confidently say that Rhein West is the best shop in town, hands down. Their prices are often lower than the dealership, and they truly stand behind their work. These guys are genuine BMW enthusiasts who specialize in BMWs and Minis.
