I've been with WSECU since 2018, they had been wonderful in so many ways. During COVID I admit I…read morewent a little crazy with online shopping for whatever reason, most turned out to be scams. WSECU saved me from each one (I admitted yes, I did attempt this transaction please fix it and they would). I began curbing my enthusiasm which should have stopped whomever from disrupting my life- it's difficult to know who to trust and who not to trust online especially- enter Amazon, At&T, Apple etc- big name corporations that one would think (trust not to pass your debit card info around at a party or would they?) Of course, there's the gas station 'pay at the pump' we all enjoy from time to time (convenience)? This past year alone I've had to replace my debit card on a monthly due to fraudulent charges (online businesses I had never heard of, WSECU was Johnny on the spot combating them while safeguarding my funds). I'm most appreciative that they were doing their due diligents but I'm still left updating my online bill pay folks with the new card number some bills were getting paid late because I'd forget whom all needed updating (I'm a senior that can't remember all life's details so in a way this nonsense has kept me on my toes or at least remembering that I have toes). I have been shaken, rattled and rolled trying to do my part to stop this madness yet as of yesterday WSECU tells me that they have cancelled my debit card indefinitely as well as any future debit card and or benefits. I will be sent in the mail an ATM card and of course I would still have access to get my money from the banks tellers (9-5, M-F) which I feel makes me more vulnerable to theft while also being exposed to other more dangerous possible life-threatening situations. Withdrawing cash from an ATM -hell just by having to carry cash on me at all or pay two ATM machine fees (?) once I arrive at a venue in an attempt to have a life outside my apartment instead of being a lonely female senior citizen in 2023 which is what it is. I've pleaded with them for another solution, but they have nothing else to say to me regarding this act of indecency they then hung-up the phone. After all their power talks to make customers feel that this banking institution was here for me offering trust and security that I needed from such an institution, my last true hope that I wasn't completely alone to fight for these injustices on the larger scale. It should be working toward preventing vulnerable seniors (all the citizens) that become victims yet these professionals that I have entrusted my complete financial Repeta, direct deposit of monthly funds, each and every dollar I have been blessed with since 2018 is now telling me that I don't have the right or privilege of being protected by them and their experts any longer because they can't find who is perpetrating these lewd and unlawful crimes...I didn't even get a "good day ma'am", maybe in time we'll be able to punish the actual criminal but for now this is the only choice, this is our final decision -then they hung-up the phone. Here I sit broken hearted thought I'd be protected but I am not I am disillusioned once again by something I've trusted to basically advise, serve and protect me...Trump was right about some things - this is not the America I grew up to know and love and trust. We can skip the white bread 50's, let's try the free loving open-minded ideas of the 60's (w/o the Manson BS) before having our souls sold to the Chinese Government or modern technology came about to make our lives easier to manage and a better place to vibe in all aspects. We are now all too easy to fu#%&%@ with, there is no innocent until proven otherwise. Who's to blame- greed, blame it on man and his evil ways, do we blame foreigners, race injustice or maybe all of the above hell blame it on the boogie I don't know but don't punish me because you can't find the source of debit card fraud. People the revolt is not far off especially if this is allowed, it's happening to me today, you could be next but why wait to become their next pawn. Stand up for the rights of every citizen, that's what will make America strong once again- united not divided. Leave your personal feelings out of equation and realize who the real enemy is- know for yourself who is wrong is who is right- not just cause that's what is popular on social media. This is truly an injustice and it's not too late to make it right! POWER TO ALL OF GOD'S PEOPLE-stop coddling criminals by punishing their victims! Sincerely, Woman not to be ignored

Once in awhile, you encounter an employee who is so competent, so good at what they do, that it…read moresort of takes you off guard. My wife and I had that experience at this Wells Fargo branch. This review is about one excellent employee, Tyrrell Johnson. I will be as concise as possible, but I need to explain a bit of background. My wife and I were buying a home in another state. We are originally from Seattle, but had started a month long, lazy road trip across the country. On the day of the closing, we happened to be in Spokane. We had a person with power of attorney at the closing, so we didn't need to be there. Because we banked with Wells Fargo and were getting our mortgage through WF, we had been told (not by a WF employee I should point out....) that there was no need to send funds for the closing. We were told that the funds would be automatically drawn from our accounts. This turned out to be false! On the day of the closing, we get a call from the title company asking where our funds were. We absolutely freaked, because getting a deal together on this house had been a train wreck, and we OH SO did not want another delay in the closing. In a panic, we race from our hotel to the nearest WF branch. It is at this point in our story fair reader, that we are introduced to our hero, Tyrrell Johnson. First off, he his incredibly friendly and listened carefully to the two of us sputtering in unison about the problem. While he's listening and asking us questions, he notices that our 9 year old daughter is sitting there bored, so he gets out an activity book and some crayons and gives them too her, and she was happy. We had been hoping to simply wire the money, but it turns out that takes a few days, so it wouldn't work. Tyrrell asked us about the title companies bank, and it turns out they bank with Chase. *Ding*, you could see a light bulb go on. He arranged with the people at Chase for us to simply walk a cashiers check over to the nearby Chase branch, and they could deposit it directly in the title companies account. He called Chase, spoke with their manager, spoke with the title company, and had his manager contact Chase on our behalf. They cut us a cashiers check, and given the large amounts of money involved, I was hoping for one of those giant checks they give people when they win the lottery:D Alas,it was a simple computer printed check. We walked the check over to Chase and deposited it, and got a call 5 minutes later from the title company. Done and DONE. It worked! What could have been an absolute disaster was handled with ingenuity and professionalism. Tyrrell, you ROCK. Thank you!
