I have been involved in the buying and selling of residential real estate for over 30 years. I have…read morealso used a number of real estate attorneys during that period of time. Andy Krantz with Zager Fuchs is one of the best, knowledgeable and responsive, a true pleasure to work with. I highly recommend him and the firm.

Andrew Kranz, Esq. failed to notify me of my ex-wife's closing date in a manner as implied in a…read morerecent divorce decree which he had in his possession. He failed to notify me of a problem with the deed found by the Title Company. He failed to send a list his approximate charges; and then requested a POA (power of attorney) for the closing which stated "receive all monies...including, but not limited to....and to make and authorize any and all disbursements from the proceeds of sale, including, but not limited to....other adjustments or disbursements". When challenged on this all inclusive unlimited access to the home sale proceeds, he said he would review and resend a more well defined POA. Where is it? The notice of the potential closing was sent to me on Jan 21 along with multiple forms (with no expanation or completeness) which had to be "immediately notarized and returned". I am in California and have no way to get there in the time designated which was at first Feb 1 then suddenly changed to Jan 26 (3 days from now). He stated that the only reason that he notified me to begin with was that the Title Company found my name on the deed; otherwise, I would have neither known or have been notified of the closing despite the Divorce's Settlement Agreement. For those reasons, how could you put your trust in this attorney.
