I had contractors come in to repair some of the damage caused (not all) which was higher than the value of the work he did. I still offered to pay him something to at least cover materials when he seemed reasonable about what had happened. This has resulted in insults and possibly threats from him on how he would get his money back. Response to owner: nice mix of truths and outright lies. I've sent over the full cost of the drywall repairs for him to see. The cost I told to him was only for the excessive damage he caused. Not even all of the damage he caused. He never told my wife about the holes in the roof she just happened to be around when they started panicking but she wasn't sure what was going on. I checked later after she told me something fishy had happened and I had to call him after he left for him to acknowledge the holes in the roof.

However, I was planning on having some additional work done, but then I saw the reviews that stated that there was a refusal to wear masks. I know that the concept of masks has become political but unfortunately illnesses don't care what your politics are. I am assuming that no one there would touch live wires with their bare hands, so why would they want to expose themselves or anyone else to an illness? Regardless, I have too many high-risk people in my life, and I cannot do business with this company at the expense of their health or mine. I am leaving the rating to stand as is because it was based on their previous work. But going forward I will use a company who will be considerate of the safety of my health as well as the work that they perform.

He came a few days later and reviewed the jobs, finalized the quote, and we scheduled the work which included trouble shooting garage lighting issues and installing 6 new fixtures in the garage; installing 5 new overhead light fixtures in the house including a entryway chandelier; replacing an outdoor outlet and security light; installing several inside dimmer switches; and adding a 50Amp breaker, 240v, NEMA 14-50 outlet for my EV car charger. The prices were very reasonable, lower than what I expected for the number of jobs needing done. Very professional, on time, efficient, and quality work. Will definitely use him again.

I posted through Yelp looking for someone to install an outlet to replace a range in my kitchen. I had a few people reach out, and I reached outside of Yelp as well (which was a failure) - but Jason hit me up right away, had a scheduled time ready to come over and check out what I needed. I *assumed* it'd be a quick once over of the project, an estimate, and I'd continue my hunt when I don't get a call back. Instead, he was ready to go when he showed up - he saw the work that needed done, gave me an estimate for time + parts and hammered it out FAST (including running out to pick up a couple parts). So before he left, I had one OTHER immediate electrical project I needed - I attempted to fix my ceiling fan light and it no longer worked - he found it was a faulty socket (something I didn't know to check!) and tightened my wire work, and had it hammered out as well! Plain and simple - Jason was in and out, and knocked two items that have been weighing on me since the new year. We have been taken advantage of many times in the past, so we were already tense about the entire thing. We found RJ Howard Electric and gave them a call. They open very early in the morning (7:30am) which is nice for stressed out folks like us! We spoke with Rick and explained the situation. He was able to schedule an appointment for 4:00pm later that day. Rick showed up right on time, 4 o'clock on the DOT, and called my hubby for more information on what what happening in mom's home. He went downstairs and checked her circuit breaker and after less than five minutes of investigating he already knew the issue. It was the line outside on the pole, which is an AEP problem. Not only did he call AEP for my mother and arrange for them to fix the outage, but he provided us with the ticket number so we could track the progress. On top of all the good news, he also only charged us a minimal fee for his services. We were so relieved and appreciative and cannot say enough good things about this company. We have some electrical issues at our house that we have been putting off over fear of getting taken advantage of, but it's comforting to know we have a reliable, honest electrician to call now! I contracted for two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,492) with Table Rock to perform a 6 week remodel and it turned into a 12 month disaster. Tablerock showcased incompetence and dishonesty throughout. Stop work orders by the city, incomplete and poor quality work were just the beginning. The excuses and lies flowed out of Shawn Walker like a man with no conscience. You name it we had unpaid subcontractor lawsuit threats/harassment, upset building department officials and more lies and excuses than you could shake a stick at. Over $250,000 later and even after they supposedly finished the project their poor quality work lives on. One example would be the driveway patches they performed and can be seen in the photos attached. Do yourself a favor and please avoid these guys.
