The front staff, simply amazing and I have had nothing but wonderful experiences with ALL of them. My 1 star is strictly for Dr. Ben Iske. I have seen him about 4 times. Every time I have seen him, he has seemed like he is in a rush. He has appeared frustrated when whatever he was doing did not work out. The last straw was my last visit when I went for to see if they could glue my permanent retainer or if I needed to see my orthodontist (though I thought I would see a dental hygienist or I may not have gone if I thought I would be seeing him as I had previously requested not to see him). He asked who had previously done work on 4 teeth where resin (not sure of the correct word) was added to make my teeth bigger. I mentioned he did 2 of them because they had jagged edges and in fact one had chipped already. This turned into a 10 minute he said she said conversation where he denied doing both. First, he didn't remember doing either one then he said he only did one tooth. I mentioned that it was something I was self-conscious about for years, I would not have gone with 2 front teeth with jagged bottoms and had him fix just one. He said his notes showed he only did one. I mentioned he may have only written one in the notes, but he certainly did both. I said I would know if he did just one tooth. He laughed at me, literally laughed. That is when I got off the chair and told him how unpleasant he has been on every meeting we have had. I can't believe he would make me feel so bad simply because in his rush, he only wrote partial notes.

We decided to do a preliminary procedure to relieve the immediate pain and then let my dentist back in Chicago further access and determine whether the tooth should come out or we should go for the root canal. In my experience, the key to any dental work is the administration of the shots. Dr. Meier was excellent. I experienced no discomfort during the procedure. The biggest surprise was a personal follow-up call from Dr. Meier himself. Unfortunately, I was at work and couldn't take the call. He left a message wanting to make sure I wasn't having any problems. A very nice touch not seen very often. I would not hesitate recommending Dr. Meier.
